Although this was not the most inexpensive model on the floor, it is the most efficient model for the price.  It has just enough bells and whistles to give you choices but not so much that it is confusing or unnecessary.  The dryer has a light in the tub area to help you find that missing sock, an...

Most Helpful Critical Review

We purchased it because of good reviews in a "leading consumer magazine," but it has not worked out as expected. The sensor function is very picky. The directions recommend making your loads as homogenous (e.g. all t-shirts, or all towels) as possible to get the best from the censor dry. Even when...

Works like a dream.

Received my new Kenmore gas dryer 6 weeks ago, and I am beyond pleased with this dryer.  Very large interior drum, interior light (love that), and drys clothes wonderfully.  I run the energy efficient cycles most times, but really, the different settings (high heat energy efficient, low heat energy efficient, timed heat setting, and air dry) all work perfectly for my different needs.  Goodness, my bed linens and blankets come out beautifully, not to mention my delicate clothes and my husband's dress shirts as well.  Also, I love the end of cycle buzzer that tells me the load is finished drying. ...

Dryness in less time

I bought this to replace my GE dryer.  My drying time has been cut almost 40%.  The clothes come out almost wrinkle free and there are multiple settings to assure fabrics are being cared for.  The buzzer will start during the cool down cycle helping to keep them wrinkle free.  The dryer is fast, efficient and cost saving.  I am so happy I chose this machine.

Bought a dryer 11 yrs ago.  The biggest capacity dryer Sears sold happened to be a Kenmore.  King size bedspread fit in and the clothes always come out dry.  Loads of blue jeans and heavy duty items come out dry.  The biggest capacity washer was its companion and two loads from the washing machine would fit into this dryer.  I have since replaced the washer but the dryer keeps going strong.

We just purchased the Kenmore Dryer for $339.95 at Sears and am very happy it. We didn't have much money to work with but was able to still get a good buy. We are very pleased with it, the settings it offers is great.  There's a setting for more dry, regular dry and light dry, where you don't even have to set the minutes , it monitors itself and shuts off automatically at however many minutes. It's great. I am very happy with it. We all are happy with it. Kenmore done a good job on this dryer and i love it's settings, excellent dryer.

We have bought and used Kenmore products for years.  Our dryer is 17 years old and still going strong.  The only thing that has needed to be repaired in all these years was the belt that goes around the dryer drum.  When it comes time to replace this dryer, we will definitely buy another Kenmore dryer.

I'm a single Mom, lost my job a year ago and lost everything else along with it. Now, I own only what I can fit in my car. But before this, I loved my Kenmore washer and dryer. I had a Kenmore washer once that was a hand-me-down. It was over 15 years old. My Grandmother and Grandfather only bought Sears appliances and I know why. My washer, dryer and kitchen appliances were always the best money could buy because you KNEW they would last.

I purchased this dryer to replace my old one (Maytag), which was working perfectly after 9 years of use, but I wanted a new dryer to match my new washer....big mistake.  I bought this Kenmore one, and on the first day of use it burned 2 comforters and  stopped working.  I had to wait 1 week for the repair, and once again, it burned more clothes.  One of the burning episodes was a pair of sports underwear which was melted and found stuck to the back panel of the dryer.  This same pair of underwear had been dried many times without problems in my old dryer.  Then, within the 2 weeks I owned...

I love the features on this dryer!

I explored all of my options with every brand of dryer when my old one finally died and found the perfect dryer; the top of the line Kenmore, with air dry, delicate cycle, wrinkle free, etc.  It is quiet, effective, and great with delicates.  My only complaint was that when my dryer died, my laundry was piling up like no tomorrow and I needed a dryer asap; the wait for the electric dryer was over one month long and the wait for the gas dryer was two months long!  So I opted for the most rapid solution and I do with now that I had the gas version of my current model.  Other than that, great...

I have been using Kenmore products since I purchased my home in Massapequa in 1985.  I find this product to be most dependable as well as energy efficient. I like that Kenmore has produced a product that is easy to use and long lasting.  I have recommended Kenmore products to my family and friends and now they are using Kenmore products also.  I have always been comfortable purchasing my appliances at Sears because I find their sales personal knowledgeable with the product and most helpful.

This model worked well for about three years then began having trouble with the heat thermostats and thermal over-ride switches. Replaced the heating element too then had a service technician visit to tell us the dryer motor was shot. Cost of service call $129. Cost to replace moter was over $300 so we chose to purchase a new dryer instead.

My Mom bought Kenmore products. She had her appliances for years.

I love the great design of the various appliances. There is always a

savings of some sort. And the best is now they are going green.
