What a lovely refrigerator!

I do not yet own this product so I can only comment on its appearance and design, but after seeing it in person I think it may just be the new frig for us. My husband and I have spent a LOT of time looking at all different styles and brands of refrigerators and freezers - including many very high end (and very expensive) brands and models. When I saw this Kenmore Elite in its lovely Black Pearl finish, I was at first just happy to find a counter depth french door refrigerator with a water dispenser on the outside and ice maker that isn't in the frig door. Then I noticed the exterior finish and was really quite smitten. We currently own a black LG side-by-side so I am used to looking at a black refrigerator every day, but it looks nothing like the lovely mirror gloss finish of the Kenmore Elite. What I LOVED about the finish is that it absolutely does not show fingerprints. My 16-month old son was with me in the store and he had his fingers all over it - not a mark. I made a concerted effort to make fingerprints on the surface - not a mark. Really cool - after more than a year long quest for the perfect frig, I think this is the one for us!
