“Loud, loud, loud”

Kenmore Elite 23.1 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator with PuR Ultimate II Water Filtration — 

We purchased this refridgerator about a month ago. We soon discovered that everything about it is loud --- from the humming noise when it kicks in, to the icemaker dropping the icecubes, to the water refilling the ice tray, to the sound when you shut the door and it decompresses the rubber gasket. We're unfortunate to have our bedroom next to the kitchen. I've honestly found myself startled from sleep when the icemaker goes on. Yes, it's that noisy. Lastly, there are some serious design flaws in the way the fridge opens. It's puzzling that you can't open the vegetable and fruit bins without hitting the inside of the door.
