“same old ice maker problems :(”

Kenmore Elite 23.1 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator with PuR Ultimate II Water Filtration — 

I research everything and decided on this fridge. Love the ice bucket. However, I am having service out for the second time and I only bought fridge in January!!! The auger in the icemaker has frozen up again and I didn't even use the crushed ice!! I still don't understand why we buy a fridge that has the capability of dispensing crushed ice, but can't use it because the auger will freeze up. Just running regular ice through it won't work. This time, it has been only 3 weeks and the ice dispenser is frozen up again for the 3rd time. Everything else about the fridge, I love.
