“A Beautiful Refrigerator......”

Kenmore Elite 23.1 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator with PuR Ultimate II Water Filtration — 

MY husband and I bought an LG side by side at our local sears store as ours had stopped working. We did not get a chance to do any research so we purchsed the LG, a floor model, so we could take it home that day. We were told that it was EnergyStar and a great fridge, so we loaded it up and took it home. It wasn't until about a month later when the EnergyStar rebate that we submitted to our electric company was denied saying that model was not EnergyStar. We called our sears store and explained to the store manager what had happened and with out a bat of an eye, he let us return the LG & choose a different fridge. We did our research this time and decided to stick with Kenmore Elite, which we've always owned, and went with this model. This model happens to be the same one that the store manager owns and loves. It also has a EnergyStar rating of a "1" you can't get any better than that! Okay so our new fridge arrived last night and I couldn't be happier. I was concerned about the grey sides as all our other appliances are stainless steel with black, but it looks just fine. The picture on line does not do this fridge justice. It is really very sharp looking. The counter depth just adds to its sleek looks. We choice the counter depth because our kitchen is not so big, and it really makes a difference. This has a lot of features that make it nice. I love the tilt out fruit bin, the seperate ice and water dispensors and built in light. The inside is also very well lit. Overall I can't find anything negative to say. I believe that we got what we paid for. The inside is not as large as the one that we had, but that is to be expected with the counter depth models. Not the fault of the fridge. Even with less cubic feet it is well set up and hardly noticeable. I would buy this fridge again, in a minute.
