misleading labeling

When I purchased this microwave the tag was advertising that it was a new item but discontinued. A BIG LIE . first it was no box just the microwave, I did not give this much importance but when I got to my home and open the door and find the owners/operating instructions was for a AIR CONDITIONER.The...

I love my Kenmore Elite 23-7 Court-top Microwave. This is my second on in the past 10 years.  I would have kept the first one but my sister in law put popcorn in for 8 minuets and I never could get the burnt smell out of it. For the appliance its self its been great. I have never had to take in in for any repairs.  Easy to use, easy to clean and very stylish for any kitchen.

I'M MORE THAN AMAZED BY THIS MICROWAVE IN ALL WAYS BUT MAINLY THE TOP QUALITY AND REASONABLE PRICE.  I TAKE UP TO A MONTH CHECKING ON IMPORTANT ITEMS LIKE THIS FOR MY HOME, THIS KENMORE ENDED UP THE BEST BUY.  I DON'T CONSIDER PRICE AS A GOOD REASON TO BUY, BUT IT'S GREAT WHEN YOU GET TOP QUALITY AND AT A FAIR PRICE TOO.

I JUST LOVE THE STAINLESS STEEL, AFTER MANY MONTHS IT STILL LOOKS AS NEW AS THE DAY I BOUGHT IT.  THE LARGER SIZE INSIDE THE OVEN ALLOWS THE USE OF THE LARGEST BOWLS AND PLATES WE HAVE AND IS ALSO GREAT WHEN HEATING MORE THAN ONE ITEM.  THE CURVED CORNERS INSIDE THE OVEN MAKES...

Good while it lasted

We've had this microwave for just over a year. We've had no problems with it until today. It just started making loud noises and quit heating. It will run, the light will come on and the turntable will turn....but doesn't heat anything.

We bought all Kenmore Elite appliances when we remodeled our kitchen. I'm not too disappointed because we had two other microwaves prior to this do the exact same things...they weren't Kenmores. Oh well. Maybe that's the nature of microwaves.

Really like this microwave.  Biggest size for the money.  Great value.  Easy to use.

Parent and In-laws swore by Kenmore so I purchased this microwave in addition to about $10,000 worth of Kenmore appliances from Sears. After about nine months the sensor buttons stopped working; rather than Sears replacing the unit they repaired it for about $400. One month after the warranty expired they all stopped working again. If I want it "fixed" I will have to pay the $400 this time, I don't think so. I will not purchase this microwave again (maybe not even any Kenmore again) but do need to find one compatible with the built in grill cover purchased for that built in look.

I have the Kenmore model with the stainless steel front and black top and sides. I have had this microwave for 3 or 4 years maybe even longer, I can't remember, and I absolutely love it, I have not had any problems with it. I will be buying another one if the one I have happens to give out. I love the fact that you have the option to defrost different things and that there is a button for that. I also like the stainless steel look on the front of it, I think it looks nicer than all plastic.

I would recommend this product to a friend or family member.

This is the worst microwave that I have ever owned.  I purchased a new home in July 2008 and moved in October 2008.  Upon moving in, the microwave needed to be serviced for a new magnetron.  In  late November 2008, it was serviced for a new motor.  The turntable wouldn't turn so the heat was not being distributed properly and my rubbermaid container melted.  Then early Feb.  2009 my microwave was serviced for another new motor...sure enough another container bit the dust.  This time the glass plate cracked due to the heat.  It was serviced and the tech sent me a new glass pc in the mail. ...

good looking

Very good.

This is my first Kenmore appliance and it operates as good or better than the sharp microwave I replaced.  The sensor function goods the best fish.  I would recommend this microwave above all.

I am not an expert, but I am a foodie and I love this microwave.

The sensor cook buttons come in handy when you want to pop anything into this microwave  from a potato for baking to frozen dinners to meats and seafood, rice, fresh, frozen or canned veggies, even a bag of popcorn.

Reheating becomes a breeze for a dinner plate, soups and sauces, casseroles and even pizza.

The auto defrost comes in handy when you forget to pull out tonight's meat, chicken or fish for dinner. It lets you choose each item by weight.

I love using the melt feature when baking. It melts butter, chocolate, cheese and marshmallows...
