Bought the "elite" thinking "buy cheap - you get cheap" Hence - "bought expensive - got crap anyway". Thing leaks intermittently and over time got louder & louder. Is it me? Noooooo - ran the machine without dishes and soap - leaked anyway. My kitchen is open to living-room & the goddess "the television". They are in struggle of being heard - the dishwasher is wining.

I love this dishwasher. It is very quiet to operate. The only drawback is as another reviewer stated, if you put a cookie sheet or other large item on the left side, the soap dispenser does not open. That is the only fault I can find with this dishwasher. We just avoid putting larger items on the left.

I have had my new Kenmore Elite for a few months and were very pleased with it's performance.
The positives:
Extremely quiet dishwasher barely knowing its running.
Bottom rack cleans superbly, with sticky, baked or burnt items.
Stainless steel tub helps with drying dishes with no or very few spots.
Sanitizing cycle kills bacteria and germs for cleaner, more sterile dishes
Smart Wash setting allows for less water and run time but still cleans.
Larger or tall Tub holds more than any old dishwasher.
Turbo-wash has powerful jets to spray off cooked on foods especially any glass or Pyrex container....

I have owned this dishwasher for about two months. The dishwasher works fantastically! I have not used all of the features yet, but I have used the Turbo Zone, and it is worth every penny paid for this dishwasher. I am just amazed with how this machine cleans even when just the Normal Wash is selected.
I made a dish that had a sugary sauce and both my husband and myself were amazed at how sparkling clean the dish turned out. I am very happy that we selected this machine.

I have had this dishwasher for a week and it is great! EVERYTHING comes out clean, including my nylon spatulas which my Maytag washer never could clean. This machine is QUIET! When it starts you can not hear it filling and once it runs you hardly know it is on. The heated drying cycle actually dries the plastic containers. The Smart Wash setting is great-the washer only uses the amount of water and running time needed to clean.
Note: Per the manual this washer has a sensor in the rinse cycle which calibrates itself the first time you run the washer by running two additional rinse cycles. If you...

I have had my new Kenmore Elite for 2 months. It is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had. Not only is it quiet, but it washes even the stickiest stuff off my dishes. I use the Turbo Zone for casseroles and sauce pans and it does a beautiful job. I think the stainless steel tub helps retain heat so my dishes come out dry enough to not have to use a dishtowel when I put them away. I also use the sanitizing cycle when someone in the house is under the weather. I think it helps keep germs from spreading. All in all I love my new dishwasher!

I'm still happy with this dishwasher, although there have been a few issues. For one thing, if you put something tall (like a baking sheet or cutting board) on the left side of the bottom rack, it will prevent the detergent dispenser from opening and the load has to be run again. It would've been far better to have the opening for the silverware bucket on the left.
Ah, the silverware bucket. At first I thought the bottom of it was falling out because I put the knives in upside down (as you're advised to do in the manual), but I stopped doing that 6 months ago and it continued to get worse. As of...

I would not waste hard earned $ on this piece of crude. It looks good though, would be best to use it as a drying rack instead of a dishwasher. For the first 6 months or so, most of the dishes were clean. However, after 6 months or so, the dishes are actually dirtier than when I put them in the dishwasher. It takes a lot of elbow grease to get the dried food off of the dishes after each and every load. Dont waste your money on this cruddy dishwasher.

I bought my Kenmore Elite 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher with TurboZone with Rotating Spray Jets in February. I have never owned any dishwasher this wonderful before. This is a quiet wash that you can turn on and not be bothered by while watching tv. The jets really do a great job of cleaning pots and pans. I can load even my largest dishes in without much trouble. It also hold plenty. I would not look any further if I needed a dishwasher for my home. You can count on Kenmore here.

My wife and have had this dishwasher for a few months now. We spent a little more money than we wanted to but are very glad we did. You really do get what you pay for. This dishwasher is so quiet you can barely hear it running, and it cleans the dishes great! We got the stainless steel tub which really helps in the drying phase. Don't need dishtowels for the tupperware anymore. The only negative so far is that the utensil rack could be a bit more heavy duty.

My first dishwasher was a Kenmore and I used it until it died! When we went to purchase a replacemtent, I said I wanted one just like the one I had only better. So that's what I got. If I ever need another one, it will be a Kenmore just like this one, only maybe even better, if that's possible! It's easy to operate, it cleans great, and you can easily get replacement parts if necessary.

This unit is so much quieter than our previous dishwasher, and it cleans much better. The delivery and installation went exactly as promised. This unit holds so much more than any dishwasher we have had before.

I have had this dishwasher for several months. It is very quiet. It cleans well and I love the turbo feature which is optional for baked on messes. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher.
