We bought and installed this dishwasher about 2 weeks ago and have loved it from minute one! The installation was easy ~ husband did it himself. Just had to take one hose and the power cord off the old one (easily done). The washer is so quiet ~ you can barely hear it. I have really put it the test this past week and everything has come out so clean. I'd recommend this to a friend!
Absolutely the best machine in the house -- I still can't believe it cleans absolutely everything - doesn't seem possible. I just ordered another one. We moved 6 months ago and the house came with a GE that looked comparable -- boy was I wrong. The GE could not handle our wine glasses and left dishes with food on them. I was so homesick for this Kenmore I am replacing a brand new GE -- it's only money I guess - I'm a sucker for a really fine machine and this is it. We've had our new dishwasher for about a month and I LOVE it. It does everything the salesman said it would. The dishes come out sparkling clean, even casseroles with crusty baked on stuff, thanks to the Turbo Zone! I've never been one to put dishes in the dishwasher without almost washing them by hand first, so I've had to retrain myself! It's a good looking machine, is very quiet and I'm happy to be using something that's also better for the environment. I love to cook and spend time in the kitchen, so this dishwasher gets a work out and does a great job every time!
I gave this 4 stars as I don't think any product ever warrants a perfect 5 star rating. We installed this dishwasher about 4 months ago into an existing dishwasher opening. It was pretty easy to unhook and unplug the previous dishwasher and install this one. It took my husband and I about 2 1/2 hours to install this which saved us $100 for Sears to install it. It is extremely quiet, but not silent like some people want. I have used every option of washing available on this dishwasher and every time the dishes come out clean. We have had this dishwasher for two weeks and usually run it every day. This dishwasher is very quiet and cleans well. I do not rinse plates like I used to do. Instead, I let the dishwasher do the work. Once or twice using the Turbo Zone feature after cooking oatmeal, I have seen small amounts of previously dried oatmeal on the pot after the wash, but usually it cleans very well with minimal or no pre-rinse. If you have large/tall cookie sheets, make sure they will fit in the bottom rack without hitting the rotating arm under the top basket. Also, I have found placing tall cookie sheets in front...

We've had this dishwasher for a few months, and are continually amazed at how well it cleans our stuff. It has cleaned pots and pans that we thought were stained.Now they look as good as new. We no longer have to wash our dishes before we put them into our dishwasher , we just put them in run the machine and they are spotless .
I have had many dishwashers over the years, GE Profile being the best before buying this one. My heart originally wanted a Bosch but after trying this one out after doing a complete kitchen remodel I have to say I am as pleased if not more so than I would have been with a Bosch. I like the top rack moving up and down and the turbo zone feature. I never hear it running. Definately a good buy!
Very quiet and cleans dishes beautifully. I love the stainless interior and all the internal configurations available.

I have always wanted a Kenmore dishwasher "BEST" When we purchased houses they always had the cheapest just get by disherwasher. I made my mind up this year and it happened. This dishwasher is everything I wanted. The turbo wash is a great feature.
I like the look of the curved stainless door. It is worth every penny I spent. Thanks Kenmore for the best Dishwasher.

I really like the idea that this dishwasher is quiet and also that you can turn the heat off.... its an energy saver, as the dishes dry with the heat from the hot water instead of a separate dry cycle.
I purchased this Kenmore model dishwasher in Jan. I have been extremely happy with the performance of this model. I no longer need to prewash my dishes before using the dishwasher. It is very effective cleaning using the "smart wash" feature and I when I have pots and pans, I use the turbo wash and everything comes out clean.
With my other dishwashers, I've always rinsed dishes before loading them in the dishwasher. What a waste of time and water. I read that I wouldn't need to do that with this machine, but I didn't really believe it. It's true! I've washed pots right off the stove with sticky fettucine alfredo, baked on pork chops and plates with dried on food. No problem. I use the Turbo Zone setting, and everything comes out clean and sparkling. Although it is not silent, it is quiet enough that we can stay at the kitchen table and carry on a normal conversation, undeterred by the dishwasher. I am so happy...

Never had a dishwasher that cleans so well! It's quiet and very effective - dishes come out very clean and spotless, even without using a rinse aid or the drying cycle. The Smartwash feature is great - uses the temperature and amount of water needed to get the job done.
Can't speak to the durability yet - only had it 1 month, but we absolutely love it.
I have never had a dishwasher clean like this one. The dishes are consistently clean, shiny, and spot free if I use the correct rinse aid and dishwash detergent. It is very quiet--we can watch TV in the same room while it is running and be comfortable. It's electronics get garbled now and then and need to be reset. Otherwise, it is great.
