Kenmore Elite Dishwasher with Turbozone with rotating spray Jets, purchased from Sears. Excellent dishwasher.
The Kenmore Elite does the job everytime, no prewashing, comes out sparkling clean & dry. This dishwasher is so quiet I do not even know it is running when sitting next to it. It's also Energy Star. I also find this dishwasher very easy to load & unload. Although I never timed the cycle, it doesn't seem that your always waiting for the dishwasher to be done, like the other 2 dishwashers I am writing about below.
We have had 3 dishwashers in less than 3yrs, 1st an LG that began to stop mid-cycle & not restart unless you set it back to the beginning & the cycle was always over 2 hrs., then it started to leak & was unrepairable, dishes also never dried very well. We had the extended warranty for the LG & they refunded.
Next we tried a Samsung, it was really quiet, but all I can assume it was so quiet because it wasn't doing anything, dishes always came out dirty, even if we prerinsed. Luckily we purchased this from Sears & with their wonderful policy they let us exchange this for the Best dishwasher the Kenmore Elite.
I believe why have a dishwasher if it doesn't wash the dishes. Why have to prewash, inspect every piece, hand wash it again, dry it, wait forever to have the dishwasher run & have so much noise. When you have a dishwasher that you have to re-do all these things isn't saving any energy, your running your hot water more, & also having to re-run the dishwasher because the dishes are still so dirty.
