Like others, I love the fridge in terms of how it is laid out, the size, the storage, great design -- and unlike some others I had no issues with the size of the water/ice disperser -- plenty big for our glasses, worked well. What I have had problems with is the ice maker. Took calls to 4 folks to get warranty repair trip approved, repairman came out, and just forced the blocked ice out and had no idea why it did that - the equipment checked out fine, so no replaced parts or adjustments. Just cleaned it out. Since then, the ice maker has jammed up 2 more times, both times had to empty the bin and force out the stuck ice as I watched the technician do. Have come to the conclusion that either this unit is a lemon, or the model has a design problem. Not sure which, but can't afford to wait any longer as my 90 day return time window is coming to and end (and after that would have to deal with a much more complicated lemon return policy). So I am returning this beautiful unit as defective and think it best to try another model. Also, given the difficulty of dealing with Sears repair/returns, have decided to try another source for a new refrigerator. Sad as I had always had great experiences with Sears for appliances.
