We have used this range for quite a while now, and I only have two complaints - since it is black, it shows dust or any water spots, and when you set the oven to a preheat temperature, it does not show the temperature increasing on the display.  My old range did&********* it, and it was helpful. ...

This is one great-looking appliance - but, it's all looks, no substance.  When we bought our current house it came with a very basic stove that I found frustrating to use (compared to the Jennair in my previous home).  When we finally decided to upgrade I was really looking forward to a high-end stove...

Think Twice about this one!

We bought our stove 11-1-09, the stove works well it takes some time to adjust to tapping the stove top many times to get the right temp. The first four times I cooked the food was blackened and hockey pucks. The top is very hard to clean and already looks funny, streaky which won't wipe off. 

We opened a $20 box of meat last night to put in the stove, I tuned it on and it lit up went to 111 degrees and went off with an F-15 error. I called the techs they said an F-15 is a failed mother board. So on our first try, (witht the stove)  which had a price tag of $1700.00,  it went out. The food...

The stove arrived in good condition.  It has performed well for the two weeks we've had it and cooked the turkey perfectley.

However the site I bought it from said the installation was included in the price.  But nobody at Sears would admit to it and kept putting me off to somebody else.  My wife called without my knowledge and ordered installation.  I called and cancelled the installation and installed it myself.  BUT as of today I haven't received a credit and suppose I will have to try to find somebody at Sears to correct this.

Do not buy Kenmore!

I purchased a Kenmore Elite range 7/05.In april 09 it broke $281.00 to repair.sept 09 broken again.$700.00 this time.I refused to repair it.then i find out the first repair was a recall item.i called to get a refund on first repair...90 days is how far they go back....no refund on thier defective part.I am done with Kenmore and Sears.Ihope you do your research.
