“Well worth the price”
Kenmore Elite 30" Wall Oven 4803 —
I have had this oven for about a year now. I waited to give my review as you really cannot tell enough about a product until you see it work for a while. Reviews made within a couple days of purchase just cannot give you the best information as what is important is how the item holds up over time.
I LOVE my oven. I have had zero trouble with it. I have made everything under the sun using this oven, breads, pies, cookies, meats, veggies, casseroles etc. Everything cooks evenly and in the time that is listed on recipes. The temperature remains consistent as I occasionally check it with a thermometer to ensure it is true.
The cleaning feature works great. The oven is a year old now and looks just as good as the day I got it. I love that the racks can be left in during the cleaning cycle. All I need to do after the cleaning cycle is wipe it down with a damp cloth and wa-la, sparkles.
The only drawback that I have found to this oven is that the light used for the clock is way too bright. It is a bright blue. It is difficult to read from across the room. However, I did not buy this oven because I needed a clock. It is an extremely minor detail and the performance of the oven far outweighs the inconvenience of the clock.
Overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I wouldn't change a thing or consider any other models if I had to do it over again. It is well worth the price.
