Good except for the fan

Overall I am very happy with the performance of this microwave, it is of an infinitely better quality than the GE microwave that I owned previously. The handle is attached well (if you didn't realize handles could be a problem you should try the GE, mine kept snapping off and the replacement was $40.00),... read full review »

Disappointed

Bought this model as a part of our kitchen make-over. Loved it at first. Great size and features. Have now owned it for close to 4 years. The oven has had light use. It has now failed. Fault code F-9. Sears says the cost to fix it would be around $400. Paying upward of $600 new, and it fails in less... read full review »

Great Product Terrible installation

We purchased this microhood to replace an exhisting range hood. The microhood is great. It looks great, is easy to use and seems well made. I especially like the back and forth movement of the tray. However,we paid Sears to install it only to find out when they brought it to install that we needed to have an electrician come after to install an outlet to plug it into. The exhisting range hood was hard wired and the microhood came with a plug. If we had known that the microhood would not be hardwired we would have skipped paying Sears to install it and just called an electrician out.

Sensor Failed after 13 months!!

The best part about this microwave was the sensor cooking - it was perfect. The key word here - was. After searching online it looks like this problem is rampant - the product should be recalled or fixed for free!

Great Micro

I was excited to FINALLY get my old micro off the countertop. My new microhood is easy to use with directions that are easy to understand. (I still haven't pulled the directions out because it's so easy to use.) The auto cook features tend to over cook some things such as veggies but that may be due to my own preferences. I love that it sounds so quiet when it's running. Hopefully it continues to be as wonderful as the other Sears items I have purchased.

New Purchase

I just purchased as a kitchen remodel. I love the features on the unit. I am also excited with the side to side movement of the glass tray. I can put oblong pans in it and all cooks evenly. It was very easy to install also. I would recommend this model to anyone.

Great Product

We are lifelong buyers of Kenmore products, and purchased this unit along with other appliances as part of complete kitchen remodel. We have been thoroughly pleased with it and highly recommend it to others. While the price is high, considering you can buy small MW ovens for less than $100, its low profile (leaving plently of room between the cooking surface and the unit), ample capacity, and its appearance make it a worthwhile investment. We also like the feature where the dishes being cooked are moved from side-to-side, instead of turning as in most other ovens. This permits odd sized dishes... read full review »
