Kenmore Elite Oasis Agitator 4.5 cu. ft. Capacity Top-Load Washer —
I just replaced my old 11yr kenmore and decided on the kemore oasis, LOVE IT. It is very very quiet and gets cloths really cloth especially white. I love the handwash (wash all my shirts no matter what the fabric is) does not pill or ruin my cloths. The spin cycle is very gentle and cloths will last longer,cycle runs 34min and is extremely gentle on cloths. A normal cycle is about 44 min and might seem long but when you doing laundry and cleaning you will not even notice the length. The heavy duty cycle is longer 72min but it is a cycle you really wont use consistently. It is a very strong cycle and for very sturdy things and dirty. No problems with washes better than my old kenmore of 11 yr. and i did try GE for 2wk and returned it. The size is great ,looks great and very simple to use. The lid does lock which is a good feature because i have 2 small kids but YOU CAN ADD A GARMENT, just push stop once and then add garment and start again. You have to add detergent to a dispenser which was not used to but it turned out great. Wll worth the money especially if you like the 4.5 size and love that is has a agiator. My husband own a repair shop and his cloths a really dirty but i do was his work stuff on normal with heavy soil the heavy duty was strong but will try again with different soil setting. The color cycle (43 min and can adjust time wash by changing soil level) is great i used it for jeans. You must remember you will hear some bad reviews about length and time but on my old manual machine it never stated the time remaining and it probably is all the same except you now are watching the minutes. The machine is awsome and would highly recommend. What i do love is you can adjust the water level yourself or select auto which i love. The other oasis do not have this option but i have left it on auto just to try this newer feature and have had no problems either. The spin cycle is great really cuts your drying time and I have had no problems with tangle cloths or anything getting stuck within the agaitor. Just watch bra and string strap shirts but if you wash it on the handwash cycle you will not have that problem. Did not use the casual cycle or delicates yet. I like the gentle spin on the handwash. Great investment. Happy washings
