I have the 2806 model and love it. I read the reviews by others and I was concerned. Sears has a 60 day money back guar so I thought I would give it a go. I am tall and wanted the topload feature. The basket is HUGE. My clothes DO NOT come out tangled (even sheets) and are very clean. It takes less time... review »

The washer looks great and has a high capacity but beyond that I regret buying it. It does not clean anything like my old 1980's washer which rusted out so I HAD to replace it. This one does have a beautiful stainless steel drum but beauty gets you so far....the only saving grace is that you can adjust... review »

I couldn't wait for my 24 year old Kenmore washing machine to break to replace it with a high efficiency new Kenmore. Once it broke, I purchased the Kenmore Elite Oasis HE. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this washing machine. If I have clothes with stains, I am guaranteed that they will stay stained. No amount of pre-treaters or bleach can get the smallest stain out. My white clothes have never looked so dull and dingy. I would not recommend this washing machine to anyone. It is less than 2 years old and I had to have the control panel replaced. I wish I would have just fixed my old Kenmore, which... review »

This washing machine is incredible. I have never used anything else like it. Not only is it incredibly huge it is unbelieveable. I put my king size comforter in it and it came out clean and almost dry. This actually saves time putting it in the dryer. I threw in an entire basket of clothes because I have 3 kids and they get completely submerged in water and they come out almost dry!!!!!!!! IT IS VERY PRETTY TOO. EXTREMELY ENERGY EFFICIENT EXTREMELY QUIET YOU CANT HEAR IT EVEN RUNNING

For all you reviewers who have "owned your Oasis washer 1 month and love it", I say: just give it time. When you get your first "F1" or "F6" code and have to have a repairman out to replace expensive electronics, the honeymoon is over. I can't believe I paid all this money for stuff I'd like to haul to the dump. The high-efficiency washer does NOT clean like old-fashioned agitator washers. I've been washing clothes for over 30 years and I can verify that this new technology is overpriced and overhyped. Shopping for a new washer? Take it from me, buy one of the old-fashioned kind and pass on this... review »

We bought this in April 09, and it stopped working less than 3 weeks later. What does "Error code F51" mean?, we wondered...turns out it wasn't a simple imbalance or overload ... it meant "Call for maintenance." We called and were told that the machine had to be replaced. I had to speak w/ 4 different people about it, and it wasn't until the 4th conversation that I even heard an apology for the inconvenience. For a product that's nearly $1000, this just shouldn't happen--especially for something so important as a washing machine, which we need a lot w/ two little kids in the house! The soonest... review »

We had this machine for two years. In the last six months, we've had it repaired four times. Just about everything on the machine has been replaced except the exterior. It was very quiet at first, then started making noise. It often got out of balance with just a set of sheets. We started getting error codes and finally had enough today when the codes and lights kept flashing and the only way to stop them was to unplug the machine. This was very expensive and not worth the money. We bought a replacement machine today and it's not a Kenmore. Stay away from this one.

After reading through some of the other reviews, I think the satisfation of this washer is a matter of perspective. I had a 14 year old kenmore and moving to this washer has been a huge step up. I can do twice the laundry in one load, it uses less water, and the clothes come out cleaner. Yes, they are wrinkled, but they were out of my old washer as well. If you had a newer style front loader, you might not like this, but if you are used to an older top loader and you read the instructions first, you will love this machine.

When I bought this product I was impressed with the appearance and the FACT THAT IT SAVED WATER. Now I wish I had never seen it. It took a while for me to fiqure out what was tearing up all my clothes and linens. Everything is raveling. It does not help changing the settings. Also not enough water to get the clothes clean. I will be looking for something different as soon as I can afford to do so. I gave 2,000.00 for the set. Not worth it. Trust me.

My house has used this washer at least 5 times per week for the past 2 1/2 years without any major probs. Once in awhile it will get out of balance from washing a heavy load of towels but that is all and it is once in a blue moon! Highly recommend it! I love that I can wash my King Size Comforter in it too!Yes there are many buttons but even a child can figure it out. It's self explanatory!!!

$1000.00 piece of junk. Had machine 2 years, replaced control board and discharge pump twice.Change left in pockets will work their way down to dischare pump and crack cheap plastic housing, causing huge leak. You can't buy just the housing, you need to buy whole unit for $90.00 plus install.Buy the machine and give it time and you'll have problems. I'm ready to bring it to sears and dump this junk in their appliance dept.

We have had this washer for a month now, and I love it! We have had no problems with it at all, and I love the fact that it saves water, and saves on drying time. We do laundry everyday, and I am so happy with the size, since that cuts down the number of loads that are done. The only thing I can say that I'm not thrilled with is that it takes longer to wash a load than my last washer....but I can live with that!

This is a such a great washing machine. Very Quiet! The drum is HUGE! Everyone who sees it wishes they have had one because they see how much laundry can fit in it. I wash king size comforters with ease. When used with HE bleach and on the 'whites' setting, the whites never looked so good. I love the speed of the spin cycle because the clothes come out slightly damp. I am not waiting on the dryer to finish the previous load anymore really. I only wait when I have a pretty big load of laundry. In conclusion, you would be buying a great washing machine. If you want a large washing machine, HE, and... review »
