Kenmore Elite Oasis HE 4.7 cu. ft. Top-Load Washing Machine (2806) —

We bought this in April 09, and it stopped working less than 3 weeks later. What does "Error code F51" mean?, we wondered...turns out it wasn't a simple imbalance or overload ... it meant "Call for maintenance." We called and were told that the machine had to be replaced. I had to speak w/ 4 different people about it, and it wasn't until the 4th conversation that I even heard an apology for the inconvenience. For a product that's nearly $1000, this just shouldn't happen--especially for something so important as a washing machine, which we need a lot w/ two little kids in the house! The soonest they could replace it was a week. A whole week! We asked for a refund instead. Now we have to go out and buy ANOTHER washing machine! Not fun!
