Kenmore Elite Oasis HE 4.7 cu. ft. Top-Load Washing Machine (2806) —

We paid $1700 for our Kenmore Elite washer and dryer in December 2008. With two kids and a husband I was happy with the amount of clothing I could put in the basket, however, after 6 months the washer stopped working. We had 3 different service people out to our house over a 6 week span. The last service guy discovered it was the electrical board and we finally had the washer back to working...this is after 4 days off work because they cant give you a specific time and many trips to the laundry mat. I was told that although electronics of today are so advanced they have a hard time keeping up with the "software" for these machines. Now 8 months after buying these products brand new the dryer is falling apart too. Right now I would take back my OLD worn out washer and dryer rather than continue to use these products.
