Kenmore Elite Oasis 28062. The best washer I have ever had.  I have had it for a year now and love it.  Whitest white gets all my whites clean and bright. Easily washes my queen size comforters and they come out beautiful. My towels come out really clean and really soft. We have soft, fluffy towels...

The washer would have been great but at about 2 years old it developed an F1 error.  Now every time we do a load of laundry we have to restart it about 7 times before it will work.  Then in the middle of the load we get to do the same thing.  The service tech said it's the mother board which is often...

Waste of money

We paid over $1000.00 for our Kenmore Elite Oasis HE from Sear less than three years ago and we already have to replace it.  The main circuit board had to be replaced once last year (which Sears did for free, only after we discovered on-line the F1 error nightmare) but it needs to be replaced again.  Once it began leaking from the bottom of the machine we requested a tech, which took 10 days!  We learned from the tech (for the small fee of $129.99) that there is also a second circuit board that is bad, the bearings and housing/casing are bad, and so is some other part internally which is...

Don't waste your money!!!  A $1200 washing machine should last longer than 2 years.  Now they want over $200 to fix it.  What a scam!!!  Washer has had several problems and doesn't clean clothes properly. Don't trust SEARS or KENMORE!!!  They will not stand behind their products!  Buy this product and expect SEARS to shaft you.

JUNK!!!

DO NOT BUY! It stretches, wrinkles, and does not clean clothes.Gets out of balance easily. After only 2 years the barrings have already went out and they have to replace the whole inside of the washer. Luckily I bought the extended warranty because the parts cost between $600-$900. The repair man told me it is a common problem with these washers and it will happen again.

We bought the King size capacity plus and it has worked great for our family of five.  We have had it for just a little over one year now and have not had any problems.  Our water and power usage has actually gone down because we are having to wash fewer loads and the machine is washing those more efficiently.  The spin RPM on this Kenmore was much higher than most the other brands and we have noticed a real decrease in our dryer time (which has helped our power usage).  We can fill it up with dirty kids play colthes, bulky towels etc... and they always come out clean.  Sears was offering...

DON'T BUY ONE!!!!

We bought the Kenmore Elite Oasis HE 4.7 Top-Load Washer and would NEVER buy one again.....or buy from Sears again.  For many generations we have purchased Kenmore appliances from Sears.  Unfortunately the service has changed for the worse.  Since November 2009 our circuit board has been replaced twice.  Also the fill value was replaced.  Luck for us we bought the 5 year extended warranty as you will need it.  In the past two weeks we have had the service department out (4 times to be exact) as the washer gets to the rinse cycle and comes up with an LF error.  They can't seem to find the...

I posted a review not long after purchasing this machine.  Liked it, but a few little issues.  I've had it several weeks now and like it more and more each day.  After reading the instructions (novel concept!) I found that I was not loading the machine correctly.  After loading the machine in the manner instructed my clothes are not tied up in knots.  I'm also very careful to select the wash cycle that best fits the type of load that I have put in.  The true test of cleanliness came yesterday.  We have nothing but mud and muck on the farm right now.  The floor cover that I lay down in our...

I purchased this washer a little over a week ago.  I washed three loads and I'll be returning it tomorrow.  I washed a load of shirts, boxers, sweatpants, etc. on normal cycle.  I smelled my boxers and sweatpants after the load finished and it smelled like I just worked out.  I don't think it gets enough water on the clothes.  Every time I lift the lid there isn't much water in it.  It has so many nice features except the one most important to everyone...getting your clothes clean.  Do NOT buy this washer.

Same complaints as most of the others.  Started out bad w/ the mother board being replaced 1 month after purchase.   Service tech skirted direct answers to quality questions.  In the 2 yrs we have owned this machine we have replaced the mother board again and again (didn't know about the recall until reading these reviews.  F1 errors mean the mother board will go out shortly.  Loud?  Ours saiys it is equipped w/ QUIET PAK9. We too have described this machine noise as worse than living IN the airport and leave the house when we want to wash a load.  Clothes always twisted and knotted. ...

Just after warranty ended....I used the "HEAVY DUTY" option on the Wash Cycle knob.  The appliance man the delivered and installed the unit even warned against using this option.  I wondered why...This was the most expensive, fancy appliance I had ever purchased.  I am always leary of digital control panels, because they wear out....rely on computerized programs, etc.  The Kenmore we had prior was 25 years old!.....2 repairs in its lifetime....Wow, what **** Sears puts out now!!!

I am thrilled with our washer. The first thing you'll notice is....it's very, very quiet.  Also, I can load all of my towels in one load now and even wash my King size comforter without fear of damage. I use the HE detergent, so I haven't had any problems with clothes not getting clean like one of the reviewers stated. In fact, this washer cleans better than my old one! It's a great machine for people who do a lot of laundry.

Before my Kenmore Elite Oasis, I had two options: Do laundry every day of the week to keep up. OR Own 2 washers and dryers. Being a family of 6 (3 of which are teenage girls) it was imperative  that we have a washer and dryer that could keep up with us! Our new Oasis holds the same laundry as 4 typical loads in a regular washer! This cuts my time and space down tremendously! It is quick to wash. It is the cleanest our clothes have been. It is quiet and very efficient. I love not having a center agitator any longer...it adds soooo much more room! Some have complained of clothes being in knots...primarily...

Far exceeded my expectations!

We purchased these in July 2009. Originally we had an LG front loading, stacked set on order.  We changed our order to the Kenmore Elite Oasis when we realized the front loading washers needed the door to be left open to dry out, or they can develop a sour smell.   Anther deciding feature that I wanted, since I frequently find an item or two that I need to add after the load has started, is the ability to open the lid to put in a found sock or whatever.  The top loading Kenmore Elite has this function.   The "add an item" button, unlocks the lid and allows you open it, then just push start...

I purchased this machine in August of 2008.  It was highly recommended by the salesperson in the store.  We were desperate for a machine as my old one had quit the week before.  Upon the recommendation of the salesperson, we purchased this washer.  The biggest problem is that my clothes do not get clean.  I hate the high efficiency performance.  There is no way for a person to add enough water to get the clothes clean.  I have three active kids.  I try to make sure that no obvious chunks of dirt and mud go into the washer but unless I wash them before they go into the washer, the clothes...
