Kenmore Elite Refrigerator - French Door Refrigerator with Bottom Freezer Reviews

Just bought the Kenmore Elite-French Door Refrigerator with the Bottom Freezer.  Wow -- very spacious.  There is room for everything in the refrigerator top and great space in the freezer.  I hope it will be very durable and practical as well energy conservative, but these are qualities one can only see after using the refrigerator for awhile.  I am very impressed with the lay out and room.  The clerk said the Kenmore was actually made by Maytag, and I have always been impressed with the workmanship and quality of Maytag appliances.  One complaint though is the ice maker.  If you plan to...

I love this refrigerator! My family and I bought it when it first came out a few years ago and it still works like new. You can store so much food in the freezer and never run out of room.  The fridge has oversized trays and drawers. There is a third really big tray on the bottom of the fridge to put extra big platters.  Even though we don't have much of those it's a great storage place for food.  And, the best thing is you don't have to bend every single time you want to get something! I will say I like the design of the selves and the overall concept of the French door bottom freezer.  We did buy the smallest version due to space constraints and the freezer is definitely too small.  If you have too many items in boxes, the pull out drawer does not accommodate them well.

My big issue with this fridge is we have needed to have repairs three times in the three years we have owned it,  Two have been to replace the door seals (both one time and one door the second time) and now the light will not turn off when the doors are closed.  This has caused the lighting compartment...

Love the Kenmore Elite french door stainless refrigerator - tons of space inside and in freezer.  Door alarm is great since kids seem to have a hard time closing the doors!  Like being able to set temps but would also be great to be able to lock the setting somehow since my husband thinks the fridge needs to be the same temp as the freezer!

As a semi-retired real estate broker, a full-time interior designer and general contractor, it is my experience and business to know the best of the best in appliances.  I have 6 refrigerators at my locations (including the few at home), and this particular style and design of French doors, with stainless steel not only provided an overall appeal to the eye, but great funtion in utility.  The spacious bottom freezer, with pull out cage for more compact, organized storage, plus the easy roller provides smooth sliding compared to other manufacturers.

I have all Kenmore appliances, washer, dryer, everything in the kitchen even down to the crockpot and toaster. But this fridge is my one single most favorite Kenmore of all the ones I have purchased. Refrigerator, model # 4678 ,stainless steel finish . Wonderful  classy , timeless , design.  French door opening gives short swing in tight spaces. The Kenmore Elite-French Door Refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom is very roomy inside.  It is on rollers so it is not too hard to push around.  It maintains the proper temperature very well in both the frost free freezer and in the refrigerator section also.  I really do like it.

We bought this Kenmore french door frig this year & it's fabulous.  Roomy enough for us, fridge shelves at eye level, great deli drawer...big!  Fridg shows cold temp as well a freezer temp in a digital display.  has door ajar alert.  Since we had a 25 cu ft Kenmore freezer already, the bottom freezer is just great...plenty big enough for daily items, as well as tons of frozen leftovers, breakfast foods, juice, et.  One of the best we've owned!

This product met all of our expectations: big bottom freezer, french doors, icemaker, water dispenser, and temperature controls for fruits and vegetables.  This product has been great and we have had it for over a year with no problems!
