What is Sears doing about the abysmal quality of this product?

The covers are supposed to be able to "breath" excess moisture from underneath them, not float in water...

Try dragging the grill under an eave or patio and see how well the cover works.

I think you may see much better results.


 

Now that, in my opinion is a stupid answer. Like everbody has an eave to store their grill under. My Weber Grill and weber cover are always out in the weather, and the cover is 6 years old now and is finally starting to lose its ability to keep the grill dry. for the 6 years it lasted, it always kept the grill from getting wet.
In NY, a patio is usually a poured concrete slab, so it would not make much sense to have to dig up the slab to put the grill under.
