Had it for three years before it stopped heating. Repairs would have cost the same as buying a new Microwave. Bought a GE brand instead. I think a product should last more than three years. I hope I have better luck with GE.
I purchased this red Kenmore Microwave. Model # 721.66227. It is an 1100 watt, 1.1 cu ft. oven. The colors are great, and they are available in a set. I also purchased a red Kenmore Coffee Maker, and a red Kenmore Coffeemaker, all from Sears.. They all work great and look amazing. Truly. Take this from a very budget conscience, single guy. This line is the way to go. I will surely get the can-opener, crock pot, and toaster oven to match.
The Kenmore Elite microwave oven is an asset in our household. We've been without a microwave for a long 3 months. This microwave is better than our last one because of it's size (2 cu. ft) and simplicity. I can heat up my casserole dishes because they actually fit! The features of sensory baking are new to me and at first I wasn't sure I liked them or they even mattered. But I save time and guesswork when heating/thawing items. The price was not bad either: $160, but I got one from the sale rack with a scratch on it for $100. I love it!
I also appreciate the friendly service...

Microwave (Household) Model 721.80043700 - 1000 watts.
Smart touch sensor area is too dark with too much glare. Catagories are in Gary and blend with black background. Numbers and letters should be in white or light up. You need to have direct lighting to see during the day and definitely at night. Turning lights on during the day is an unnecessary expense for my household budget and a waste of energy.
purchased the kenmore microwave oven when my daughter was a baby and it is still working... she is 30..what does that tell you? It is a workhorse and lasts forever. The older model is a bit big and heavy but who moves one every day.
Bought an over-the-stove Kenmore MW Dec 2008. It died January 2010. Guess that's why the salesman told us not to get warranty on this item. JUNK! DO NOT BUY
Kenmore microwave looks good and is of very good quality. Easy to clean. Controls are easy to use.
Kenmore has some of the worst quality appliances, unless you got lucky. My wife and I spent over $8000 in appliances thinking: well this is Sears, they must stand behind the name", we were wrong! the microwave died 11 days after the 12 months warentee and the manager blamed us for not taking the extended warentee instead of acknowledging that this is unacceptable quality. We are really disappointed and would never buy Kenmore again.
We recently purchased the Kenmore 721.63252 (721.63259) microwave oven. We have had our microwave since we were first married which was over 20 years ago. I went to use it the other day and poof - nothing. My husband the electronics technician said we may have just blown a fuse. He was going to try to repair it. Unfortunately, he is always too busy and there it sat and sat. One day we happened to be at the mall shopping for clothes for mu husband. We happened to be at JC Penney. My husband suggested that we look at their microwaves. Boy, they are expensive and have a very limited...

The only issue i have had is that we use the microwave so much that it's "start" button has gone "kaput". I know i can always have someone at Sears look at it, but have still to get to that - the "add minute" button works just fine!!!
