“Do not buy.”

I do not recommend buying this refrigerator. The water filter leaks and is apparently due to a poor design.

Repairmen have been to the house.  One solution was to replace the water filter base. This repair did not last 24 hours before leaking.  Sears sent a senior technician to evaluate the problem. ...

“Great Look, Many Problems”

I too bought the Kenmore Pro Series for my new kitchen remodel.  So far I'm pretty pleased with everything but the refrigerator.  I'm now waiting for my 3rd unit to be delivered.  We bought the Kenmore Pro 23.1 cu ft counter depth stainless steel and certainly love the look, other than that not yet sure.  The first two units came damaged, both having scratches on them.  Since I'm getting a 3rd new unit I'm hoping I won't run into the problems everyone has written about.  This unit is made very cheaply for the money.  The drawers feel like they will fall apart within a short amount of time. ...

“This was a HORRIBLE purchase!!! Zero Rating...”

Back in the winter of 2006 we purchased the Kenmore Pro refridgerator. We loved the look of the product and based on the description/specs we decided to make the purchase.

BIG MISTAKE...

The fuse box on the icemaker blew this summer (2009) and the icemaker has been malfunctioning ever since then. Despite our repeated calls to the service people [who claim to have fixed the problem each time], the sensor in the icemaker is no longer functional. “Broken day One”

We outfitted our entire kitchen with Kenmore Pro.Loved the look and thought we would save thousands instead of much higher priced top of the line stuff. Well,again.You get what you pay fore. The very first day with the Pro side by side Refrigerator the buttons on the display do not work.Service man came out and had to order new board.It has been two weeks and still waiting. It does look pretty but I am now nervous that Pro is not the way to go...................

“Does not cool after 5 repair visits”

Sears needs to remove this product from their offerings. It looks great, but it has ruined hundreds of dollars of food twice! We now have a cooler in the laundry room that we are using for the basics while we wait for our fifth visit from the repair person. They have replaced the digital unit twice and it still isn't cooling. Seems like their repair people are just throwing parts at it. They all say they think they've fixed it and it should be fine now. “Don't Buy”

We have had this frige for a little over one year. It is very poorly made and the quality is NOT at all in with the price. The nails used to put together the frige are all rusted out. They have stained the stainless steel. The water dispenser lever broke. It cracked in half. One of the drawers in the fridge broke and is off track. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

“RUN, Run, Run”

In 2007 we bought the full line Of Kenmore Pro (counter depth refrigerator), Built in over, Dishwasher and 30 cook top. 1- Stainless Steel Kenmore PRO 23.1 cu. ft. Counter Depth Side-By-Side Refrigerator: Sears item# 04644333000 Mfr. model# 44333 The outside gages do not work. Not for the freezer , and not for the refrigerator. According to a high end electronic thermometer the difference between the display and the real temperature varies by as much as 10 degrees. The most frustrating issue we had was the measurements. “PRO Refrigerator in new home”

Due to the practical issue of availability of Sears appliance service in our rather remote area of Colorado we decided to put Kenmore PRO refrigerator and dual fuel range in the kitchen of our new home. The 23.1 cu. ft. counter depth PRO Refrigerator was our choice. It has a great built-in look and doesn't rob space from the kitchen. Since it has been installed 4 months ago we've had no service calls on either of the PRO appliances. The refrigerator does what it should very well and is whisper quiet. “Not worth the price”

I have owned this refrigerator for 5 weeks and it was replaced once because the delivery people dropped it. The repairman is coming back next week to replace the produce drawer with the cheap glued on plastic cover. He is also going to replace another part that is causing my $3000 fridge to not keep consistent temperature. My food is going bad. The ice is constantly empty because it produces such a small amount. I had a horrific time dealing with the delivery people and customer service to get the original fridge replace. “Love this unit!!”

I bought this refrigerator last month, and I love it! I love the look, and the function. It gets so many compliments from my friends and family. I strongly recommend this fridge.

“2 stars”

Had fridge repaired 5 times in 2 weeks. Could not get it fixed. Uneven cooling and food was going bad. Sears did take it back and allow me to get another brand. Looks great but save your money and buy a Kenmore Elite.

“Great style at a somewhat reasonable price”

We've owner this fridge for three years and except for a problem w/ the ice maker when we first got it (sears came and fixed right that right away)  it's been fully operational. I love it's retro design  and functional interior. Also, it's silver on 3 sides (not cheap looking black on two) and you can apply magnets to the sides. I like that. I wish they made more like this one.

“BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL”

We recently performed a major rebuild of our kitchen and dining area, We were looking for appliances that represented a sofisticated yet down to earth audience while still offering state of the art technology and ultra sleek designs that "POPPED". We chose to use all Kenmore Pro units except the cooktop ( 30" electric is not offered, why? ) and we could not be happier!! This refrigerator has done nothing but surpass all our expectations at a superb price point.
