We wanted to upgrade our kitchen and went from a single wall oven & microwave to these double, convection, self-cleaning ovens in stainless steel. It was an excellent choice. The man that installed the ovens fitted them perfectly to our cabinet, did the electrical work that was required and tested the...

Most Helpful Critical Review

I bought the pro 10 months ago and have never been able to use it.  After many attempts to fix my first one,  I was given a new one.  It worked for 20  minutes then went totally out.  I am again waiting to have it removed and will not buy Kenmore again. Both panels went out on each unit.  Seems...

Very Nice Product

We replaced a very old Magic Chef oven. So far this product performs excellent as far baking, it is a bit loud though. It does look great and the knobs are easy to use. I think it was priced fairly and Sears did a great job from sale to delivery.

I Love Cooking Again!

After my basic wall oven broke we looked at many different wall ovens and decided on this one.  I am very happy with my decision.   I have made many batches of cookies , loaves of bread, pizza , etc. and everything comes out wonderful.  I love all the racks and the fact that you can actually use them at once with the convection.  The oven does not take long to preheat contrary to another review.  The lights are bright and the windows are big so you can watch everything you cook.  I love the look of this oven and that it is not complicated to use.  I am looking forward to many good cooking...

We puchased this as part of a kitchen remodel in November/December 2009 so we have been using them for about 4 months. Overall we have been happy with the ovens and would recommend them. We purchased them along with the 30" kenmore pro gas cooktop (that's all the room we had in the space) and the kenmore pro warming drawer (which we thought might be overkill, since we could keep food warm in the second oven, but we have actually gotten a lot of use having both). Together, they give the kitchen a very sleek, uniform feel and we get lots of comments on how everything looks (think French country)....

Total Junk

We purchased this unit 1 year ago. After numerous service visits it was replaced. Now after numberous service visits on unit two we are to receive a third unit which will not be the Kenmore pro if we can help it. Unfortunately I have to click a star above to make this comment work. You have to use the unit before you can rate it and all I can say this is total junk. Do not buy. Also the 800# to help is as useless as the product.

Great baking

The double oven is working great - I love the hold warm feature and the fact that there are two ovens!!  I've had no problems with either of them whatsoever.

Very nice ovens

We have had these ovens for about a month. Like the look of the knobs and dials--old school. We complemented the ovens with the gas 36 in cooktop next to it. Looks industrial. The convection is great. Once warmed up, cooks 6 pizzas in 10 minutes to perfection. Great when you have three boys in the house. Slightly smalled inside from our old Whirlpools that we have. This one weighs about twice as much as the Whirlpool so if weigh matters, these ovens should be pretty good. Overall--good features and designe. Performance seems to be good as well. Only drawback my wife does not like about them is...

All Looks for $3000+

We put in all Pro line Kenmore appliances in the remodel of our kitchen. This double wall oven has been a real disapointment. In the year we have owned it we have put it through a real workout. In baking casseroles or turkeys or roasts, there seems to be an issue with humidity buildup in the oven around the vent. This tends to drip out of the top oven and onto or even into the lower oven door - since the lower oven door has vents on the top...you guessed it, the drips have gone inside the lower door which I then had to disassemble to clean between the glass panes in the door. Also the bake rack... read full review »

Not the top of the line

While I gave this an overall 4 stars, there are some areas that could definitely use improvement. Overall, I have simple needs when it comes to ovens. Bake or broil. I wanted a convection oven so I could bake faster, or bake more things in the oven without sacrificing time and quality. I only acheived the latter, and I don't get to turn down the temp on the oven either, so it's only pseudo-convection to me. Every new type of dish requires a guessing game to figure out how long to bake it and what the proper temperature should be. It broils just fine, and is a big help for holidays when I actually... read full review »

Baking is fun again

We purchased this oven after shopping many brands and chose it primarily because it matched "close enough" to our Maytag fridge and Kitchen Aid dishwasher. It cooks marvelously - especially convection roasting with the temperature probe. The only feature missing is a timer to start and stop the oven, where you could put a frozen casserole into the oven in the morning, and come home to it later. If not for that we've give it 5 stars.

The worst

For buying the "top of the line" sears product, we were very disappointed. We renovated our kitchen with Kenmore Pro products and 5 weeks after installation, one of the double ovens stopped working. After waiting 5 weeks for a part that was not even used, the repair technician told me I should not use the self-cleaning oven feature because that was what caused the breakdown and if we used the feature again the oven would mose likely need service again. So for an oven costing over 3,000 dollars, the self-cleaning feature is out.

disappointing

We purchases these ovens about a year ago, and they have never worked well. they take over 45 minutes to preheat to 350 and do not maintain their temperature. I have a service agreement and have had them out several times (waitiong for them to show up between 8 am and 5pm) with the results being that at first I was told this was normal, then I was told multiple pieces need to be repaired. Most recently the ovens were "repaired" with the result being I have 2 ovens that do not work at all.

5 stars

I needed to replace my wall oven quickly and was absolutely delighted to know that the Pro line was available in two days as promised. Installation was easy! This oven is a true convection as I have owned others in the past. Watch your time! The greatest feature is the seals on the oven doors. We live in an area where air cond. is a must and these oven doors really seal in the heat. The dial knobs are an attention getter and give the oven a retro feel. As I bake a lot, the bread proof option lets me forget about my dough while it rises. I cannot wait for more exceptional Pro-Line appliances.

Timed cooking

One of the big reasons I chose this product was because it displayed that it has a "Sabbath Mode". This is the third oven I have purchased from Sears and with the past ovens "Sabbath mode" meant a timer that would start or stop an oven at a given time (at least, this is how it is touted in the previous manuals). I contacted Sears and was told that the Sabbath Mode mentioned is to "Warm and Hold" food only. This oven does not have a timer that will start or stop cooking (something that I would use especially when busy with other chores). If I had known this, I would have chosen a less expensive... read full review »
