Kenmore PRO 30" Single Electric Wall Oven 4100 —
Our "old" Amana stopped working after 6 years. The repairman came out to dignose the problem and found that the control panel had gone bad. $750 to fix, but we found this model for $1100 and jumped on it. It looks very nice, heats up quickly, and we have no complaints so far. I cooked a pork tenderloin using the probe and it was amazingly tender and juicy. I watched while the repairman checked out our old oven and chatted with him. He told me that the week of Thanksgiving is his busiest time of year and that he has the self clean function to thank for that. He also suggested that we never use the self clean because it heats up to incredibly high temperatures and along with burning out all of the cooked on food and gunk, it cooks the electronics. We never did use the self clean and won't use it on this model, so I won't be complaining about it not working.
