My wife and I installed this oven about 2 years ago when we did a complete remodel to our kitchen. We have had no problems with this beauitful unit so far. The stainless steel is very high quality. We purchased this unit and after reading reviews (at that time most were strong) ran the clean cycle immediately because that was the one problem that seemed to be come up. The unit flashed an error message and would not function. Waited a week or so for service; unit was reset.

Had this unit for 2 years, Did the self cleaning 1st time and now it will not heat. I see other have had this problem, Sears need to recall this OVEN to fix this problem not tell people to pay for a service call on this problem. All I wanted was to talk with a service tech to see if they have a service note on this problem, but you can't even do that. Sears servive is the worse. Very Disappointed. I will tear this unit out of my house before I pay Sears to come out and look that this in Wall Oven

We bought this Kenmore Pro single oven for our newly constructed home in Colorado.  Our builder has the two oven version of this model in his own home and was happy with the product solidifying our decision.  We moved in June 2009 and began using the oven.

This oven performed as it should with great results baking (normal & convection), roasting and broiling.  The probe feature for roasts takes the guess work out of roasting.  Set the temperature and the oven displays the current temp of the roast and will beep when done.  We loved this oven.

The wall oven looks great but performance has only been average and to some extent below expectations. It is slow heating up and the racks does not slide easily after some use. The stainless steel panel surrounding the door window sometimes pops loose from the adhesive tape that keeps the panel flush with the window.

We have had to replace the temperature/thermal switch as this part gets damaged if you use the oven self clean function, a common problem for this oven according to the sears technician that came to repair the oven. Sears even ordered and shipped me the part even before the technician...

Bought the entire Pro Line series. To date we have had fourteen service visits in the last 24 months. Nine being attributed to the double wall oven unit alone. Two mother boards, multiple elements and finally the self cleaning mechanism failed.  Microwave was replaced. Our gas stove-top required three visits due to plugged gas elements. Our dishwasher, a replaced hose. Poor product line.

Great oven but no self clean

The oven looks great but after a year, self clean does not work. During the first year we used self clean twice -- roughly once every 5-6 months. However starting this February, the self clean process would start but after 2-3 hours, the oven displayed "Err". Technicians have been out 5 times and replaced several parts but still can't get the self clean working. Other than that, the oven works great. Bakes quickly and evenly. And when self clean worked, it worked well. Some features I would have liked to see added include delayed start and stop -- something the Elite model has.

Our "old" Amana stopped working after 6 years.  The repairman came out to dignose the problem and found that the control panel had gone bad.  $750 to fix, but we found this model for $1100 and jumped on it.  It looks very nice, heats up quickly, and we have no complaints so far.  I cooked a pork tenderloin using the probe and it was amazingly tender and juicy.  I watched while the repairman checked out our old oven and chatted with him.  He told me that the week of Thanksgiving is his busiest time of year and that he has the self clean function to thank for that.  He also suggested that...

Took other reviewers advice.

Love this oven. The temp. control and convection features are new to us and we are enjoying the experience. However, like other reviewers we had a problem with the self-cleaning function. It ran successfully, but afterward one of the elements in the time display worked intermittently. Same was true of the oven temp. setting display and the timer. They would be off when the oven was cool, but operate as normal when the oven began to heat. Repairman said there was probably a loose connection. What a Disappointment

The 'Self Clean' function worked for about one hour, then shut off and flashed an F10 error; after this, the oven never worked again. Sears Service replaced every possible part (failing to make the oven operational) and then reinstalled a brand new unit. All seemed fine until we used the 'Self Clean' again - within one hour of operation, the exact same error message and power failure. Looks great, but doesn't work (and apparently can't be fixed). Be sure to test all features before your warranty expires!!

self clean is an issue

loved this oven until using the self clean. same problem as other reviewer. F10 error message flashed and did not work. Check all features before 90 day warrenty. I am getting my oven replaced and i hope the same does not happen. We'll see!!

Love this oven

I have been looking at pro wall ovens at every appliance dealer from the coast to Bend and I waked into the sears in Florence and found this oven at 1/2 the cost of other brands. It cooks great and looks even better. I have no issues with any of the ovens features. Get this oven you will love it!

We purchased the Kenmore Pro double ovens and warming drawer.  They look wonderful!!!   However, we installed them on Friday - used them for the first time on Saturday........had the repair man here on Wednesday!   He tells me the motor needs replaced.  When the oven is turned on to bake - the fan makes a terrible noise.  I am just now reading all of the bad reviews on the ovens - I hope we didn't make a huge mistake.  They only come to our area once per week so it will be two weeks before he is back to fix it.

After much research, we purchased (2) of these units, 1 1/2 years ago. A few months later, we had problems with the broilers (in both), Sears repaired them. We haven't used the broiling much since then. Last week, we ran the self-clean on both ovens at the same time. The 1st oven stopped after 30 min. of the 2 1/2 hr. cycle with error codes and non-stop bepping. Sears tech service was of little help to troubleshoot & was able to schedule service one week later (thanks a lot for the time sensitive help). The only remedy for the beeping was to shut the circuit breaker down for that oven. Later...
