“Compactor bags”

These bags are exceptionally sturdy. The only drawback is that they are supposed to have perforations for buttons on the side to hold the bag in place as the compactor works. These perforations are barely visible, and rarely more than dents in the plastic.

“Much better than plastic alternative!”

We have been sold on the paper compactor bags at Sears for more than 10 years now. We tried the plastic alternative, and less expensive/more readily available substitutes, and have always returned to the Sears. The plastic lined paper bags do not tear, and contain the weekly trash quite well. The only leaking episode that we have experienced was related to throwing a LOT of watermelon rinds in the compactor, then leaving them for about 5 days. Lesson learned, and "wet" scraps never go into the compactor any more.

“It's Just a Paper Bag But It Works So Well”

Compactors are a good idea... lots of trash in a small space. Saves landfill space (so says my garbage man) and is a lot more convenient than emptying the regular trash can every two or three days. These plastic lined paper bags are great for any types of wet trash (coffee grounds, banana peels etc.) and hold up really well to broken glass and sharp can lids. Can't beat it. Also, these bags fit GE and other brands of compactors.

“Kenmore Paper Compactor Bags are economical in the long run.”

May cost more than plastic bags but these paper bags hold more and are stronger than plastic. These bags stay in place and are easier to haul out.

“Kenmore Paper Compactor Bags - sturdy and reliable”

I have had a trash compactor for years and have been using the Kenmore Paper Compactor Bags in recent years. Previous to that we were ordering them through another company, which was not only more expensive, but a bit of a hassle. These bags are less than $1 each which is great in its own! They are sturdy and reliable. The light plastic-like lining offers protection against leaks, while the heavy paper resists tears. Over all I would say a great product!

If you own a trash compactor, then the Kenmore paper compactor bags are the ones to buy. They are tough and won't leak, no matter what you put in the trash.

I recommend these bags to everyone.

Sears Trash Compactor Bags are the best.  They are sturdy and can hold a lot. The best part is they are priced right!  I use them all the time.

“Hard to find paper and these bags hold up great.”

We purchase the compactor bags at Sears because they hold up well and the price is good.  They do not tear or leak. They can hold two weeks of trash.

“Knemore Paper Compactor Bags hold the trash and rarely leak.”

The Kenmore Paper Compactor Bags do the job.  They are easy to put in the compactor though it helps to open up the bag to its final shape befor inserting.  They are very hefty.  We have really stuffed them and they have held up.  The only time that we have had tears is when we have put something like a point stick in and then compacted it so the stick poked through.  We also try not to put alot of liquid in the trash, but that is just common sense.  The bags come out off the compactor easily enough unless we try to stuff to much in and the bag becomes to heavy.  The top of the bag is folded...

“Best appliance I own”

I have owned a Kenmore compactor for over 25 years. My trash collector loves coming to my house where he picks up 1 bag per week. Can't find paper bags locally anymore just plastic which are worthless. I buy the bags from this site. Great appliance.

“Paper or plastic?”

I have had my compactor for over 10 years. When I purchase bags I usually buy 4 packages at a time which lasts about 4 years. My compactor is in my garage and is used for all kinds of garbage much harder on the bag than the typical milk carton or vegtable can. I came to this web site to see if I could still get the paper bags. I told my wife I would hate to have to get rid of my compactor. I tried the plastic bags in the past and found them to not only be weak but a pain to put in.
