I bought this water heater based on its specifications and price, despite some of the poor reviews shown here. The dimensions of the heater and the positions of the water and electrical hook-ups were similar to my old heater so installation was easy. This heater is excellent value for money and mine works without any problem. The thermostats allow adjustment between warm and scalding. The relief valve never blows. Unlike one reviewer I have never had a problem with the pilot light. Was never able to find it but was not too concerned as this is an electric heater. You can pay a lot more for a heater and I think all you'll get for the extra money is a second sacrificial anode. I'd rather save my money and replace the anode in 5 years.
