“Kenmore Premium Grill Rotisserie Kit work well with our NexGrill”

I purchased this item at about half of what if costs, $59.99. I put it together today and the instructions where easy to read and figure out. We put a 4 lb. beef tenderloin on the rostisserie kit and in about 45 minutes it was done. Awsome, the only way to cook food. There was one problem...the stake... read full review »

I should have listened to other reviews and not purchased this item. It is a piece of junk. First of all, there were no assembly instructions/mounting instructions in the box. “Works Well. No Problems.”

I have never used a Rotisserie on the grill before. I Installed the Rotisserie using the directions that were included. It was very simple. All the parts that were needed for the Rotisserie were included in the kit. After install I cooked a 4lbs Chicken. I removed the lower grills and the upper warmer. I put the Chicken on the Spit and inserted it in the Rotisserie. I put one of the bottom burners on and turned on the back infered burner. It took about 1 hour and twenty mins. It was Perfect! Very Very Good. Florida.

“Good Heavy Duty Product”

I searched aroundat quite a few different stores and on the internet to find a product like this.  This was the lowest price heavy duty option with a long enough spit to fit a 6 burner grill that I could find, and amazingly it also had the best quality construction of all rotisserie kits I looked at.  The motor, I believe, uses metal gears instead of plastic so it will hold up to long term and heavy duty used without damage to the gears.  Also the motor is strong enough to to power through and turn heavy roasts even if they are out of balance, unlike most rotisseries on the market where...

“DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT”

I've only used it once. I wasn't impressed. It takes too long. The chicken took forever and was never done, I had to cook it inside for a different meal. The chicken kept falling and then didn't rotate and burned on one side. The temperature wouldn't stay steady. Not worth the money! I'm returning the item. I'm sorry I paid $50 more dollars for a grill with the infered burner. Don't spend your money on that either.

“Love rotisserie!!”

Used it for the first time, I always wanted a grill with this feature. Took about 1 hr 30-45 min for a 4 lb chicken. Marinated and seasoned and it came out juiicy and delisious!!  easy to clean and was really simple to use.

“Do NOT BUY! Under any circumstance!”

This is the poorest product you wilil ever buy. Even if you are lucky and the motor actually lasts, it is not set up to hold it's own wait, it bends the side of the BBQ pit. There should have been a spacer from the top of the pit to the bottom of the motor. It bends down from the weight of the motor and thus, bends the side of the pit. Honestly, Sears needs to dump this item, it is total JUNK.

“useless”

finally got around to setting unit up after sitting in box for 2 months. there is not enough height on bar to put on anything but the smallest of chickens(and thats questionable)or hot dogs. I put on a regular size chicken(6lbs) it just sat there laying on the grill.save your money. wish I had

“who ever thought to put plastic gears in this is an idiot!!!”

Why would anyone think plastic gears would not melt when put next to heat, used this 2 times and the plastic gear melted in it

but it's over 2 years old, but comon it was only used 2 times.

What a pice of junk

“kenmore premium grill rotiserrie kit”

Product came with no instructions, after figuring out how to assemble, the etension for the 5 burner didnt screw on tight, and rotiserrie stopped turning, after 10 minutes of cooking, chicken was burnt black and ruined! I am returning this product asap. The quality is poor for what you get, plus there is no handle!

Do not buy this product. I am very dissapointed in Sears!

“A good addition”

What a wonderful addition to our lifestyle. I grill year-round (even in the snow) and it is great to get it going and then leave it, with occasional inspections. It does a wonderful even roast on beef, lamb, pork or chicken. Note: this is obviously for home-cooking and would not be suitable for larger-scale catering.
