“first vacuum in a long time”

Kenmore Progressive Canister Vacuum with Telescopic Wand, Blue Moon White — 

I have recently become single and this caused me to purchase many new items. My new living space had fresh carpet installed the day after I moved in. I knew this would be a challenge for any vacuum. The carpet was fuzzier than expected and the machine worked well for some time but the red warning light came on in just five minutes of work. It took me some time to figure out the hose was blocked and another hour to clear it. (do they make a tool for this?) Being aware of the potential for clogging I was careful not to over do it and removed fuzz from the bag as I went along. After several cleanings the fuzz has been removed and it works just fine. I like the looks of the unit. It truly has a lot of power and can handle carpet to bare floors seamlessly. My one complaint is the edge cleaning feature does not work as good as I would like. I have to go back with the crevice tool to complete the job. I got the vacuum on sale and in my opinion it was a good purchase.
