I am on my third refrigerator. I had a Kenmore that only lasted 5 years. There is not much that you can do to cause a refrigerator to last only a few years. I take care of all my things and I was very displeased with my side by side. I have since purchased a refrigerator again a Kenmore and it seems to be fine. I have had it for two years so lets see how long it lasts.
I own a Kenmore Coldspot. It has been nothing but a sore spot for me for the last 5 years. Within the 1st 24 hours of delivery, the ice maker was busted!. So far this is what my refrigerator has done: no ice making whatsoever, cannot store soda cans at all in the refrigerator since they tend to explode, vegetables freeze, meats spoil, and for the creme de la creme - i've got a pool of water sitting at the bottom of my refrigerator. I have small kids so I need my fridge for milk and um....food? For the last year, i've had to store items in a small dorm refrigerator. I had enough this weekend when...

This is our third Kenmore refrigeraor. The first one expired after about 25 years, and the last one expired after only 8 years. Since a TV in our kitchen expired about the same time, we think it was caused by a power outage. Because we trust Sears products, we decided to buy Kenmore again. The refrigerator expired the night before we were to leave for a trip. A non-Sears serviceman came out and told us it would cost several hundred dollars for repairs and that we would be better off putting the money into a new one. read full review »We have been looking for a fridge with these features for a few years now and are thrilled with our purchase! We actually removed one shelf from inside to store larger items and it is working out fine.
Love my refrigerator,bought Last July 2009. I has so much room.Oh yes it stills works no problems.Just love it and also a Energy Star.
25 cubic ft bottom freezer. It is so easy to adjust. Veggies stay fresher longer. Freezer is easier to keep track of what is there.
Only change would be the large drawer some how to make it so only open 1/2 of it when not using for large items
Before I open my refrigerator, I want to hug it. I love the pull-out deep drawer freezer , the double refrigerator doors, The water and ice taste so refreshing. I will never buy bottle again. I send a kiss to the manufacturer.
I have been very pleased with our Kenmore refrigerator we purchased from Sears. I was shopping for the best value, and have found it every time with Kenmore. It works great, and has all of the same functions of a more expensive unit.
I presently own two Kenmore Refrigerators and a Kenmore Freezer. I have never been disappointed by a Kenmore product or by the willingness of Sears to back their products. In this crazy world today these are the kinds of things that as you age you grow to appreciate!
We bought several Kenmore refrigerators for our rent houses, and they are holding up better than the other brands we have bought. The plastic inside continues to hold up to renters, and the icemakers still work good. We will be buying Kenmore when we need to replace other refrigerators...we have 13 houses. I think you would be happy with one, also.
Buying this Kenmore Refrigerator was an impulse purchase that I have been very happy with. It was bought to be a second refrigerator and it has ben a life saver. It works great and looks nice. I couldn't do without it. I would recommend it completely.
