This is a good product. I would like it more if it were to be changed every year instead of every 6 months. =]
For the price of this refrigerator, to have to spend almost $100.00 a year for a replacement water filter seems pricey. The real nuisance is that once the filter fails it begins to leak water all over the inside of your refrigerator from the top shelf down. Poor design and a good reason I will look at a brand other than a Kenmore when we need a new frig. The part probable costs $12.00 to produce and they are the only company that makes it that I am aware of.
THIS IS A GREAT FILTER! WE HAVE HAD OUR KENMORE REFIGERATOR FOR 2 YEARS NOW AND HAVE ONLY REPLACED THE FILTER TWICE.
Good product but it is pricey for a filter for water for a Kenmore refridgerator. There should be a way to produce it cheaper.
