Kenmore Serger Sewing Machine —
I bought this serger a couple weeks ago. I have never used one before. The DVD that came with the serger is great. I set my serger near my DVD player and followed step by step the threading technique and only made one goof which I quickly discovered. The DVD explains the different techniques and is very informative. I think this is a great buy. While it is nice to have tweezers it would have been most helpful to have had a looper threader included in the supplies. You need something to reach underneath and behind where you thread the lower looper. I 'jerry rigged' a hook with some jewelry wire I had to retrieve the thread and then went and bought a long needle threader. I would suggest buying a threader at the same time as purchasing the machine. I have two Kenmore sewing machines which have served me well. One is 30 years old and I'm still sewing on it. I don't think you can go wrong with a Kenmore.Kenmore Serger Sewing Machine
