Kenmore Upright Freezers Reviews

I've had 3 freezers over the years and by far prefer the upright model.  It holds a lot of good bargains.  The shelves can be adjusted.

It's god value for the $$ for energy purposes.  Having an upright saves hanging over the side of a chest freezer and constantly digging around looking for the frozen item I want.

With the upright, I can organize and shop, for example, a meat or frozen food sale, with just a glance into my freezer to let me know what quantity to take advantage of and still have room for the "extras" like ice cream.

Frost free is the only way to go in my book, keeps away freezer...

I have owned two Kenmore freezers in my life. The first one lasted fourteen years and gave me great service. I purchased a new Kenmore freezer and gave my son the old one. He has been using it for several years with no problem. I am convinced that if Kenmore isn't the best brand on the market; they certainly rate right up there with the best! I will continue to buy their products, always a winner.

Purchased a Kenmore elite 21 cubic foot upright freezer. I had read reviews with complaints of loud compressor and constant running. Received ours the delivery people leveled it and plugged it in, it was not loud and within 10 minutes the temp was at 28. In 20 minutes the temp was 0 and the freezer was not running and quite. Our refrigerator makes much more noise than this freezer. Love the interior with the sliding baskets and adjustable door shelves. So far very satisfied with this freezer.

We purchased an upright freezer after many years of using a chest type.  I like the fact that I can see what is in there without having to dig!  But it doesn't seem like I can get as much stuff in there as before.  I do like the alarm system on it as I left the door ajar once and it sounded to let me know before my food was ruined.  It also has a lock and temp controls which I like.  It is quiet except when the alarm sounds!  Overall, we love the freezer.

I have purchased two Kenmore freezers this year and could not be happier. I have one for my home and replaced my mother's 30 year old freezer.

I especially like the section for the ice cream. Now there is no more searching for the carton in the middle of the night!

My mother is a true Italian who makes her sauce and freezes it for the unexpected drop in guests. She loves the idea of being able to size her own shelf and the slide out basket for her meats at the bottom.

Even the delivery man said he had never seen so much food in one freezer!

I'm very happy with the Kenmore 13.7 cu.ft. upright freezer. It holds a lot, and they didn't get too cute with the shelves and bins. It's simple inside, but very functional. I use it for freezer jars full of vegetables from my garden. I'm very happy with it.

Along with trying to eat healthy and get more exercise for the new year, came an idea to have an extra freezer in our kitchen.  My husband and I have decided to make healthy choices this new year, and having a freezer has made it easier!!  We go to a food Co-Op each week and get the freshed produce we can find.  If we can't eat them before they would go bad, we FREEZE everything.  This way when we want to make a healthy choice for a snack, we have things on hand.

Got this freezer about 9mo ago and working great so far, lots of room, shelves, and great value.

I just love my up right freezer.  I have so much room to stock up on great deals I find.  There is lots of room and I like being able to adjust the shelves in a way that I prefer.

We needed extra freezer space for game.  This freezer is just perfect and holds a lot of food. It is quiet and it has the energy savings sticker.  No problems and don't expect any. Kenmore is a decent product

We purchased a large Kenmore Heavy Duty Commercial freezer and just love it.  I am always shopping the sales and buying in bulk, so we wanted an extra large freezer.  The Kenmore freezer has a smudge-proof textured door.  This model has a pull-out wire drawer on the bottom which works excellent for bags of frozen veggies.  The doors have ample shelving to hold items such as packages of cold cuts or smaller boxed items.  Overall, the freezer holds a huge quantitiy, allowing me to save lots of money buying in bulk when I find a sale.  Also, my husband is a hunter, so come fall, we really fill...

We went shopping for a large freezer that would give us plenty of room for when the sales hit in the meat department.  My husband also hunts and he makes varieties of sausage as well as cuts the meat himself, so we needed a nice size freezer to accomodate it. 

This freezer was in the store located close to where we live, so we purchased it and brought it directly home.  We compared the cost of this freezer vs. the overall selection, but the salesperson also checked online, so we ended up with a lower price than what was in the store.......something to always ask for!!  Do not be afraid...

Recently my son and I purchased a 12cf  Kenmore Upright Freezer to replace a 5.3cf upright freezer. We love it!!! I especially love the fact that it's frost-free and has more room. We recommend this item highly!!!

It is an awesome deep fridge.  Nice bottom pull out tray to get things out of quicky.  It does tend to make sometime noise and you find yourself staring at it for some reason when it does. It doesnt always stay level. Had to place something on the back of it to stay level.  Have to get hubby to look it.   We have had it 9 years or so.   We keep ours in our home and not the basement.  IT cost more to keep cool in the summer if you have it in the basement area.   Good buy!
