The Kenmore central a/c and heat pump is everything it is claimed to be, efficient, effective and durable. This unit operates very quite compared to my previous Trane unit. “Don't base purchases on Sears service or warranties”

The unit performs well most of the time. The problem is that the reversing valve failed twice in the first 15 months, once within 2 months of installation. Currently I cannot use my heat pump for heat because THE PARTS ARE ON BACKORDER INDEFINITELY.
