Great Bike for the Price

I decided at 48 that getting a bike would be a good addition to my longevity. I grew up owning Schwinn Bikes and was sure that was what I wanted until I found this Kent. I love this bike! Besides the fact it looks great, it is simply a nice bike. The gears shift very smoothly, the brakes are very nice... read full review »

So far, so good!!!

I live in Mid-Michigan and decided to spend my summer getting back into shape. Since the weather is really nice this time of year, I wanted to add biking to my normal routine. Didn't want to spend a fortune but still wanted a quality product. After a few days of on-line and in-store research, I decided to take a chance on the Kent Glendale Comfort Bike. I liked the style, colors, front and rear suspension and lightweight frame BUT was really drawn in by the price. I've been riding my bike non-stop for almost a week now and absolutely love it! And apparently so does everyone else...I've received... read full review »

Very nice bike.

I bought this bike for my best friend's birthday. I got one that was already pre-assembled and it seems pretty nice. The only problems with it are that it was hard to raise the seat (taking the seat off and gripping the adjustable part with a set of pliers got it working) and that the handlebars won't go up either. I'm guessing this is probably from lack of use in the parts. Otherwise, my friend loves the bike! I may buy the woman's version for myself when I get the money.

5 stars

I live in Piedmont North Carolina, and am having my 61 st birthday today. I have been looking for a bike to fit me and my age.and having very little luck. After looking at many bikes, I gave up. My wife had been on line, reading reviews, and found this bike . I really like it so far and I am impressed with the ride and smoothness of the shifter. I did add a gel seat cover ,to be kinder to the couch side of my posterior. So I am looking forward to the wind in my hair, what there is, and fresh air in my lungs. A very nice bike to own...........Logan

comfort, style, value

This bike actually lives up to it's advertizing. I was ready to walk out of the store when I spotted this bicycle parked by the exit door. I wanted and needed a bicycle and reviewed many of them at various price levels and degrees of quality. I was immediately impressed with it's style and features and was virtually shocked by the sale price of the bike.Similar ones cost hundreds more. I took one home, filled the tires, adjusted the seat and handle bars and off I went. The bike shifts effortlessly, handles bumps in the road well and basically fills all my riding needs. A great looking bike, with... read full review »

I am from North Miami Beach, Florida and my daughter is 5 years old, she has a bike. Many times my wife mentions about having a bike so my daughter and I can ride together. lately, We have been going to the park so she can enjoy her bike. So, it's been long overdue and I had a vision to purchase a GOOD, QUALITY Bike. Today March 13th, 2009, After visiting different websites and going to different stores and trying different bikes from 24"Mountain bike to 26" old fashion Schwinn.... I had to make a wise decision because the store was about to close. I remembered seeing this style bike on the Kmart... read full review »

Kent Glendale Comfort Bike

I am 53 and purchased this bike 2 months ago, it is a great bike for me, I have had no troubles with this bike, It has all the features I wanted, front and rear suspension, 7 speed, chain guard, It shifts smoth and brakes great. The only thing I did was purchase a La-Z-Boy Cruiser Seat for $19.84 and it mad a big difference, I love this bike

What a fun bicycle.

This Glendale is affordable, comfortable and stylish. Its unique suspension not only provides a good, cushioned ride but is a breakthrough in the appearance of dual-suspension (as opposed to a mountain bike that generally sports a "hacked" look). Seven speeds are plenty for most riders wanting to cruise their streets for fun or exercise.

The wide seat makes for comfortable sitting and the release clamp for the stem makes for easy adjustments. An aluminum frame is proving strong, yet light enough.

This 26" bike rides well, looks good and, purchased on sale, was a great price....

I read several reviews before I purchased this bicycle, some were good and some not so good. I should have lestened to the not so good ones. I bought this bicycle on 9/22/11 and returned it on 9/26/11 because of a clicking noise in the gears. I exchanged it for the exact same bicycle and had even more probleams then the first one. There was a knocking noise in the peddles, the gears would not shift and the rear breaks squeaked. I returned that one on 10/6/11 and got a refund.

DO NOT BUY THIS BICYCLE!!!!!
