This is a great add-on for the kitchenaid stand mixer. When you have something to mix together that either takes up most of the bown or requires a higher speed this pouring shield keeps the batter from spraying everywhere.
It also has the are to pour in the ingredients you need to add into still. I love using this guard.
This pouring shield works great with the mixer because it allows you to pour in runny liquids right into the bowl while it is running without any spillage! It is easily cared for and worth the mess you are not making for having it on.
