Nice, not perfect

This toaster does have nice features, like the dial setting, and the slots are plenty big enough to fit artisan breads which are often quite wide. But the toaster is kind of big and clunky and the thick cord gets in the way. It does a nice job of toasting and the one side only toasting for bagels is... read full review »

Worked great till it didn't

My wife and I got this toaster as a wedding gift and loved it! Less than two years later we are shopping for a new toaster. The outside coils stopped working this week and now it takes 3 cycles to just toast bread. The toaster I had before this was some cheap p0s and it lasted 5+ years through more than... read full review »

Handles large things

I often buy rye bread, so I wanted a larger toaster.  This one suits me fine.  Handles bagels as well.

Looks lice.  It's pretty big, but since it replaced a toaster-oven, there's no problem.  I actually prefer analog controls and displays over digital, but not a deal breaker

Had this toaster for about 3 weeks now and have used it a lot on bread, bagels, and english muffins.  It works great, the toasting is very even, the controls are easy to understand and use.  It is, as one of the previous reviewers said, a larger than average unit, but I find it not to be overly so and maybe that's because its styling is attractive.  I bought a regular two slice toaster but took it back because it would not even handle semi-wide bead such as the Brownberry wheat, let alone wide homemade slices.  This unit handles everything well.  It is a higher than average price.  Maybe...

Hello! I recently purchased this toaster because my old one had broke. I picked this specific toaster because of the relative low price and it's stylish looks; likewise, it is made by a company I trust and am confident in.

As far as taosters go, it can't be beat! It makes my toast -- perfectly -- every single time. Plus, it looks awesome in my kitchen and hardly takes up any counter space. I would definatly recomment this toaster to anyone looking to purchase a new one.

Kitchenaid 4 slice toaster

We love it. The long toaster slots of the KitchenAid 4 slice toaster handle any length and width bread, including oval shaped rye breads that do not easily fit in normal toaster slots. The long, thinner housing design doesn't take up as much counter space as normal boxey 4-slice toasters do. This toaster toasts breads and english muffins evenly on both sides and we love the bagel feature that toasts the cut sides of bagels but doesn't incinerate the crust sides. And the reheat feature warms already toasted breads without additional browning. The large digital display illuminates and is easy to... read full review »
