Kitchen Aid Dishwasher

We had the same dishwasher in our previous home (a 2004 model) that performed well. The dishwasher in our newly purchased home failed. (A GE Monogram Stainless Steel unit). After analyzing repair costs versus replacement we decided to purchase another Kitchen Aid. We were pleasantly reminded of how quiet, powerful, and easy to use this unit is.

Nice Upgrade

We recently purchased this dishwasher to replace a 20+ year old unit and have so far been very pleased with our purchase. I installed the dishwasher myself and it was very easy to do. The unit is extremely quiet compared to our old unit and washes very well. It has only been in use for a few weeks but feel confident that it will provide years of dependable service. The door is a little hard to open, but not so hard that it worries us. It would be nice to have fold down tines and covers for the silverware holder to keep small pieces from being blown out from the water jets. Overall a very nice unit... read full review »

LOVE IT

I am very impressed with this dishwasher. Easy to load, large capacity and VERY quiet. No heat leak into kitchen. When I ordered, I made sure it had the 4 hour delay as I was used to having to run my dishwasher after we went upstairs for the night-but with this one, I can run it right after dinner while we are still in the family room-it is so quiet.

A Great Upgrade Model

Our Sears Kenmore conked out after only 5 years. This KitchenAid is a great model and is now at a super clearance price. It has a great look, like more expensive dishwashers. The stainless interior is nice, and it truly is Whisper Quiet. It's not much louder than my refrigerator running. Dishes come out clean the first time and dry. The rinse agent reservoir has an easy to read guage so you can actually see how full it is. With my old Kenmore you could never really tell when it was out of Jet Dry. The dish racks don't have a lot of fold down tines, and the cycles are just the basic -- but then... read full review »

Amazing!!

We just put it in yesterday but I saved dishes for two days so we had a full load of dirty dishes, bowls and a pan for the first load. You can fit in a lot more without the tower in the middle of the bottom rack. Everything was perfectly clean and sparkling. We didn't realize it would be so quiet. It has the cycles we use and it really looks sharp. The guage on the rinse-aid is a nice feature. My last dishwasher was recalled because of the faulty rinse aid portion but this is different and we're looking forward to years of good service.

Great Choice!!!

We really love this dishwasher. We replaced a 15 year old Kitchen Aid. This continues the fine tradition! We are very pleased. It is so quiet and cleans great!! Best of all it uses very little energy. Sears.com installed this and were very helpful with all our needs.

Whisper Quiet - Excellent Results!

We replaced our 2 year old GE Profile dishwasher with this stainless KitchenAid, following a kitchen remodel. Although this unit had much fewer wash options, it actually has proven to do a better job cleaning AND drying (especially drying!) vs. the GE. It looks like you spent more $$ than you actually did, if that is important to you, and the performance is fantastic. We would certainly not hesitate to purchase another Kitchenaid product in the future.

A great replacement

What a wonderful dishwasher! Quiet as ANY dishwasher I've ever heard and very capable of cleaning any dish you put into it. I would highly recommend this product.

Is it running?

This is the quietest dishwasher we have ever owned. You have to really listen closely to tell it is running. A big improvement over our builder's model we have used for the past eight years. Dishes come out sparkling clean also.

Love it!

We've had this dishwasher for one week and this is a HUGE improvement from our previous 12 year old builder grade Kenmore. Our dishes are so much cleaner now! I never knew any dishwasher could completely dry dishes; this is phenomenal. KitchenAid is a great choice; I would highly recommend it.

Very Quiet

This is the first dishwasher I've owned in 20 years and I can't believe how good it is. Cleans well, doesn't leak heat into the room, and very quiet. I like being able to take the silverware basket out and the stainless steel interior is a nice feature.
