Just got home and I think it was mixing up things before we got it out of the box. Have used this brand at the kitchen where I work and now I have one at home it works so great I had to have one. If you bake or just love to cook this is a must, Now I need to get the meat grinder and the Ice Cream maker or the kids, This product has so many functions its not just for baking.

I received this as a wedding gift from my mother and it is an absolutely must have for any cook in their kitchen. This product comes from a very, highly recommended brand name. It has quite a few attachments for anything you can think of needing them for. The stainless steel bowl is very sturdy, cleans easily. This model comes with a whisk, a bread hook and another flat ceramic attachment. I make everything from cookie batter, to my meatball mixture in this mixer. The "hands free" is great for a cook. It is heavy, made with great quality, locks in the down position and has many speeds. I love...

The artisan mixer is much more than a mixer it is an all purpose kitchen tool. It is useful to make the whipped cream for a dessert, but easy to use to make the rolls for dinner. This mixer is heavy duty and will not struggle to mix heavy dough with the dough hooks that come with it. The wisk whips up cream in a hurry to perfection. With additional attachments it has the capability to make sausage or grind any meats. This appliance is worth the purchase price. Taking advantage of a manufacturers rebate makes it even more affordable.

a good investment

This is one of the most used and best loved items in my kitchen.  I use mine primarily for baking, and it can handle large batches of bread batter without any problem.  While it is expensive, it is also seems sturdy enough to last for a long time (I've had mine for three years).

This KitchenAid mixer is replacing my old mixer  I had for years, it belonged to my mom before me and that old mixer finally died.  I looked around for a long time before getting this mixer.  I shopped around for a long time before picking this KitchenAid Artisan mixer.  It came in a color I wanted for my kitchen and it works beautifully.  It is a very quiet and efficient.  In the short amount of time I have used it I have made cookies, brownies and some breads and it hummed right along without any problems.  It is easy to use and just as easy to clean.  Well worth the money.

With the Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer the possibilities are endless. From mashed whipped potato's to creme brulee, you  can do anything.  Bread, cakes, cookies, crisp, etc. I have owned mine for 5 years now and it has not failed me once. It's easy to clean cause you only need to clean the bowl and the attachments and that's it. And don't forget about all the other attachments, for pasta, grinding, juicer, shredder, ice cream; you get my point, like i said the possibilities are endless, so if you think you have no space for it trust me is worth the investment. Make some space for it, you won't regret... read full review »
