Got my Kitchenaid Pro5 mixer and don't know how I managed without it!!! Love the power of the mixer/whipper, and great attachments - salvaged leftover New Year's turkey with the meat grinder to make chili, meatloaf, etc. for months to come!! I am now starting a small bakery business and I can't imagine trying to use anything else!!
Simply the best stand mixer - definitely worth it to get the extra bowl, it makes things so much easier, especially if you have multiple mixing projects going on at the same time...cake batter AND frosting, multiple sauces, or dough that needs to be refrigerated. I haven't purchased the pasta maker or juicer yet, but am certainly planning on it.

I had a Farberware mixer which worked fine and had no problems. I received a gift card for Christmas and decided to get this one. I absolutely love it. I use it at least 3 times a week. It mixes so well. Also, I think having a Kitchenaid mixer just makes a kitchen look complete. Everyone I have spoke to loves theirs too. Some of them have had theirs for 30 years.
I have always wanted one of these and was fortunate enough to get one as a Christmas gift. The person who bought it told me they almost went with a cheaper model, but in the end decided to "go with the pro." I am so glad they did. Let's be honest, a stand mixer that's this powerful is most likely overkill for a "hobby baker" like myself, but then again you never know when your mixer is going to need that extra "oomph" when mixing cookie or pizza dough or other bread recipes. read full review »We got this mixer last year as a gift, and since then not only me but my husband can't wait to buy the next piece for the product...we have used it as a mixer, and also a veggie cutter, to make potato chips, sausage stuffer ect.. Its well worth its weight n Gold to this family.
