Great product. Whipped cream in seconds. Makes baking simple. And, great for mashed potatoes.
I love this new mixer. It is heavy and well made. The only negative is that you can't scrape the sides of the bowl very easily while it is mixing. You have to stop it, raise the mixer arm and then scrape the sides. It will do two cake mixes at a time which is very convenient. It cleans up well too.
What can I say? My mixer is over 40 years old and it still runs great! It has never had a problem, and has never been serviced. Also, I use it ALL the time. I would be lost without it. There is so much more you can do with this stand mixer than you can with a hand-held mixer. Making homemade bread is a snap. I'm not sure how much longer mine is going to hold out, but when the day does come that I need to replace it, I will do so ASAP!
The Kitchen Aid Mixer is a must have in any kitchen, especially in mine. This appliance is durable and it comes in many colors. My color is white and it looks fantastic in my kitchen. I use this appliance primarily to bake my favorite cake and others as well. This machine does the job right all the time. I strongly recommend this appliance to anyone who is serious about baking at home. Enjoy!
I absolutely Love my KitchenAid stand mixer! I use it for so many things it is wonderful to use for frosting, it makes my frosting so light and fluffy. Every kitchen could use this mixer, it's easy to use and it comes with a whisking beater, a flat beater, and a dough hook which makes making homemade bread so much easier. I also have the meat grinder attachment and it is great too. This is a wonderful tool for any kitchen.
I have had my KitchenAid Stand Mixer since 2003. It is reliable, looks good on the counter and can easily be added onto with other attachments if I should wish to become a gourmet cook in the future. HA! Actually, I'm a lazy cook. The easier the better, which is why I love this mixer so much. It makes my life so much easier.
I had been wanting a Kitchenaid stand mixer for months...perhaps years...and finally just had to cave and get one! I went with the classic mixer because I don't need anything fancy. But it works great - just like it should. It has already become my favorite and most used kitchen appliance. I will say, if I had a way to add in ingredients so that they wouldn't spill every where (especially the flour), that would be great But for just the basics, the mixer is a stand-out.
Since I purchased my stand mixer it's the best I make fresh Pizza Dough and the best Pizza's of all types without having to either go out or have it delivered. The unit's bowl and dough hook does the job almost automatically ! The only recommendation for others is the splash shield is good to have, it may even save the motor from constantly turning it on and off allot when adding in the flour. It also must be great when making pie dough I've done it the other way by hand and I much rather use this mixer.
Also I have the grinder attachment and I buy Top Round Roast beef and other meats when...
read full review »Kitchen Aid produced one heck of a product when they came out with this mixer. It is easy to use, always found at a great price & lasts forever. I had mine for 17 years & never had any problems with the motor or any of the mixing beaters. I purchased it when I first started trying my hand at making cookies. My old mixer never had enough power & my batters for cakes were never consistently smooth & when I tried to do a cookie batter...well...the motor burned out from the thickness of the dough. With this basic Kitchen Aid mixer, not only did it produce a smooth creamy texture for my cookie...
read full review »My three sisters and our mother are huge fans of the KitchenAid mixer. For basic use, this is probably the best model to go with. Great design with easy bowl removal.
The fancier or larger your cooking, the more you might want to consider an upgraded model.
I love my new kitchenAid Stan Mixer, is easy make a lot of cakes and cookies with her!!!
this is a favorite of mine. my mom had one, and i had one for over 20 years, that finally gave out because we overused it to make soft serve ice cream out of hard boxed ice cream one too many times, and so when this happened, i was all too happy to replace it with a new kitchinaid. they are hard to wear out!!!
