The expected wait times are atrocious. When told 20-30 minutes, you end up waiting over an hour. After the time stated on waiting for a script, if you ask how long, you get the same standard response of 20-30 minutes. The service sucks. The pharmacist at my local Kmart is rude and does not know how to talk to people. He has been very rude to my 92 yr. old grandmother on a number of occasions. I refuse to deal with the pharmacy for any scripts for me and my children anymore.
MY VISITS TO THE PHARMACY ARE USUALLY GOOD. MY LAST VISIT WAS POOR. MY MEDICATION WAS CALLED IN THE PREVIOUS MORNING. WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP THE NEXT AFTERNOON IT WAS NOT READY AND I HAD TO WAIT. I HAVE TWO DRIVE 22 MILES TO USE THE K-MART PHARMACY AND I DO NOT MIND BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS NORMALLY GOOD. BUT NOT MY LAST VISIT.
I use Kmart Pharmacy for 3 years. The Pharmacy techs and Pharmacist are very helpful. But, I think that they should not have people under the age of 25 working there. I don't like the young adults working there seeing my profile and know my business. I had a recent incident that not only made me out of my prescription, but had to contact my doctor, who was on vacation at the time, re-fill my prescription because a very young girl was working there. My doctor called my presription in and I was right there when he called it in. When I drove to the pharmacy, I saw a young girl, sitting in the pharmacy,...
read full review »My family on average spends about $150.00 / month at the Kmart Pharmacy. We have accepted the fact they are not the fastest in processing prescriptions, but today I was caught completely off guard. My wife and I stopped into the Maysville, KY Kmart Rx to pickup a prescription and also a box of Advil Cold and Sinus. We got the prescription and when we asked for the Advil, the lady said "No, because it is 1:30 PM and I'm on lunch now". She wouldn't even take an extra minute to take care of the customer. It is actions like this that looses customers.
We started using the Kmart Generic, 90 day supply, prescription program a few years ago. To our surprise, some of the maintenance 90 day supply of prescriptions we were filling via mail order were listed in the Kmart 90 day generic program. The Kmart pharmacy cost for the listed generic medication is even cheaper than the mail-order that we use...and it sure is nice to receive the medications immediately, rather than wait the 1-2 weeks for mail order.
The Kmart Pharmacy staff are courteous and prompt in filling the prescriptions. After moving about a half hour from the nearest Kmart...

I have insurance but was given a med that insurance didn't cover. I took it to ******* but a couple of months later tranferred it to KMart because it was only a couple of blocks away from work. I didn't even think about getting prices for it. When I went to pick it up they charged me three times what ****** did for the same exact medication...and it was a generic! I was astounded...but she did offer to give me a $25 transfer gift...

I'm a long-time customer of the Kmart Pharmacy on Astor Place in NYC's East Village neighborhood, and, in a market crammed with low-service, low-knowledge pharmacies like Duane Reade, they stand out. I'm managing a chronic condition with limited insurance coverage for medication, and I couldn't do it without them.
They always work with me to plan ahead for prescriptions, and flag issues before they come up -- not after there's a crisis. When glitches happen, they figure out ways to solve them. They're readily available by phone, take the initiative to call if something comes up, and are extremely...

The Pharmacy at the South Campbell Kmart in Springfield, MO has a GREAT staff. Not only did they call me about a concern over the cost of the medication, but they followed up with an analysis of how I can save some money. THANK YOU!
We usually get our prescriptions filled at the kmart pharmacy on airport thruway. well not anymore they lost our information than needed us to fill out new paperwork. then they stated that they no longer accept our insurance so i asked for a insurance coverage sheet to see what they do take. Sure enough ours was still on there. then the lady preceeds to tell us that they dont have our meds instock and that we will have to come back tomorrow. seems to me the lady was just trying to get out of filling our scripts. now for the several scripts that are filled there is around 3 grand a month...
