This is the first thing my son asked for once he got a taste of the "Lego City" line. He rec'd the ambulance as a gift and then asked for the boat. This toy is VERY cool and he was able to put it all together himself...he is 10. He plays with it and now has many of the other pieces as well.
I REALLY LIKE THE LEGO PRODUCTS FOR A COUPLE OF REASONS. ONE THEY HELP MY KID BE VERY HANDS ON. HE LOVES TO SIT THERE FOR HOURS BUILDING NOT ONLY WHAT THE DIRECTIONS SAY BUT HE ALSO BUILDS WHATEVER HIS IMAGINATION BRINGS. HE REALLY ENJOYS IT AND IS ALWAYS ASKING ME FOR MORE LEGOS. I ALSO HAVE NOTICIED HOW BY BUILDING THING WITH THE LEGOS HE IS MORE OUTGOING TRYING TO HELP ME DO GROWNUP JOBS OFFERING HIS IDEAS ON HOW TO DO SOMETHING. I BELIEVE HIS ENTHUSIASM COMES FROM BUILDING HIS LEGOS.
