I got the 24 cubic one with the ice maker on the bottom The only bad part of that is when you go to get the ice out of the bin the lever catches the ice and drops it to the bottom of the freezer and when you close the bottom drawer the ice cubes then falls to the floor I think the arm should be higher up when it finishes making ice cubes so it does not touch the cubes when pulling the drawer out It is not the bin but the arm and also it could make smaller ice cubes I am not hapy with the ice maker at all so called service to see what they will do The refrigerator is new For the rest I love it only... review »

We purchased this fridge to replace some 70ties model and we are so pleased with this LG model. There is plenty of storage room, smart design, very light and gives you access to everything in your fridge. The bottom freezer is great because you use the fridge far more often than the freezer. The best of all things and the reason to purchase this model was the energy rating and the quietness of this fridge. When you open the door, it temporarily stops running and lets you know when the door has been open too long. You can barely hear it operating, it is that quiet. I Love My Refridgerator

I just love everything about my bottom freezer refridgerator. I would not normally get excited about an appliance, but everything about this fridge is just awesome. The fact that it is so convenient to have my cold products at eye level is the thing that I love most about it. The fact that it is a Kenmore product means that I don't have to worry about it at all. I have never had a problem with a Kenmore appliance in the 35 years that I have been buying them. I would highly recommend them. A fine product, with good internal arrangement of space. Two minor quibbles. The light/control module restricts access; it should be located at the rear of the compartment. Also I would prefer a handle on the freezer door that can double as a towel rail.
