Bought this a month ago and have had no problems. Time will tell. The ice dropping was an issue, but we found that the top tray was not pushed in all the way. Make sure the top tray is pushed back as far as it will go and you should never have ice fall through. We haven't in over a month and we make a lot of ice.
We purchased this unit about a year ago, and have had numerous service calls. One for Ice maker controls frozen over, plastic drain line to drip tray came apart and leaked,
Filters are not only expensive but not readily available at any local stores.
We would not recommend this unit and when replaced it will be with another brand.
We purchased this Christmas 2006 and have been pleased with it since. The layout is very intelligent -- double doors to keep cold air in, freezer on the bottom so no more stooping for getting into the fridge which you do more often than the freezer anyway. Ice maker is awesome. Doesn't take up all the room in the freezer like many models. Makes more ice than we can consume. That's maybe our only complaint. It makes ice too well. There. I found one.
This is a wonderful appliance. It looks very stylish and has ample room for refrigerated items. I think the freezer is a little on the small side for a family of 4 or more but I have an additional freezer for those special buys. The small size (22.4 cu ft) does not come with an ice maker in the door, only in the freezer unit which is a little cumbersome and I also noticed the ice machine overfills the tray so when you pull out the drawer, ice cubes fall to the floor.
The appearance of this refer is gorgeous! Will for sure stand out in your kitchen. The filtered water is excellent and the shelves are easily moved around to customize the interior. The bottom freezer feature has good capacity and works great for large items.
My only issue is the ice maker. It loads up ice in the back half of the receiver tray and when you pull out the freezer drawer the on/off arm pushes the ice behind the drawer. So you have to manually turn off the feature when it gets full. My next door neighbor has the next size up and has the exact same issue.
The most I ever spent on a fridge, but well worth it. I would prefer the water dispenser with a higher capacity / faster fill. The ice maker does over spill onto the bottom of the freezer, but I just turn the switch off when it's full, and turn back on when needed. The stainless steel doors dent easily - wish there was a way to remove and repair.
All in all, super fridge, and would buy another one in a heartbeat. Great shelving, space, door shelves, and digital readouts on the door are super.
We bought this unit 6 months ago and really like most things about it. It has excellent storage and really flexible shelving that allows it to hold much more than our old refrigerator, even though they are the same size. It looks great and feels solidly built. It does make a little noise, but that is mostly when cycling the icemaker. The one real complaint we have is the poor design of the icemaker and bin, which allow ice to drop behind the icemaker whenever you open the freezer door, and this dropped ice has to be removed regularly, which is a real headache. We purchased this fridge Fall 2006 and have had no major problems with it. We did have a couple of instances where the ice maker froze up but remedied that by decreasing the size of the ice. Love the features in the door but wish the water/ice receptable was larger for larger glasses, etc. The water filter is great but extremely hard to find locally and its expensive. Love the digital features on the outside of the fridge door and the space inside is great. Wish the freezer was a little bigger though. Not quiet enough space or maybe it could be reshaped without the slant in the back. All in all,...

Much more storage than similiar size fridges. Extremely functional shelf arrangements and drawers. Love it. We needed a unit that fit in the small space and this fit the bill.
When I bought, there was review that slammed the ice maker, we have the same problem. When the bin gets full and you open the freezer, the ice drops out of the bin to a lower level. This is the one flaw we have found, but the fix is easy, when you have enough ice, turn the switch off.
Highly recommend after almost 2 months of service.
I purchased this item in December and have had great performance out of this item> Everything about this product has been great and I have had several good comments from family and friends about how nice it looks and how much room is in side.
My wife and I divide the two doors, one for her health food and my side for regular food. Temp control is excellent. More than we planned to pay for a frig but worth the money. Got rid of our water delivery man since we have filtered water in the door.
I have the titanium freezer on the bottom refrigerator and love it - I was tired of bumping the top of my head trying to get things out of the bottom of my previous refrigerator - the titanium finish shows no hand marks or smudges- the door handles are great - the french doors take little room to open and hold alot of stuff and there is plenty of room on the shelves - you have a view of everything and it stays much neater and cleaner- it displays digital temps and is well lite - the freezer has pullout shelves and a huge basket on the bottom that makes it easy to see things and store them-
