... we like this dishwasher very much. Of course, our goals may be different from the people who give this dishwasher a poor review. Primarily, our goals were to a) have an energy-efficient dishwasher that b) did a good job, c) could meet all our needs, d) was quiet, e) and attractive. We already have an LG washer and dryer (front-loaders) and had been very happy with those as well, so an LG dishwasher was certainly in the running. So as to our goals, the LG dishwasher is:
a) One of the most energy-efficient for the price - $18.00 a year!!
b) Our dishes have been coming out sparkling clean and...
read full review »Dishwasher runs great, steam cycle really good. Impossible to contact Sears service to correct installation problem, installers did not secure dishwasher in cabinet properly, and top seal is not placed on properly. Transferred 3 times on same call, and getting tired of the same old recorded message about how important my call is.
Consumers need facts on what they purchase. I purchased LG no heat dishwasher and was not satisfied so exchanged for LG heat and it is great and cleans dishes, no smell, no cloudy dishes and tub is large and stays clean without water spots.
The sales person at Sears did not inform me on the first purchase. I would of never bought air dry Dishwasher.
But I am satisfied with the one I have now. LG is a good product if informed what your needs are.
This is far better than the dishwasher I replaced.
I particularly like the steam function.
No problems with spotting or dirt remaining on dishes if the instructions are followed.
I thought I would save money and not use rinse agent at levels recommended and I immediately say spots on glassware and on inside walls. Remember, hard water requires more rinse agent.
Quite?? No. I felt disappointed the first time we ran it. You can hear the water slushing around. It was louder than my home builder spec KitchenAid that i was replacing. And after a couple months, it just got louder. All kind of high pitched sounds coming out of it.
Clean?? No. Absolutely not. Tea cups, coffee cups - the stain from the coffee or tea you drank an hour ago will stay in the cup. Any food particles? They get pushed around and spread over all your other dishes. Pray that you don't put a plate with some parsley on it into the dishwasher. So it can't even clean easy...
read full review »We've had the dishwasher for about a week now...this replaced our 11 year old Whirlpool dishwasher. First of all, the price that Sears is selling this right now is insanely low. And then to top that off, free installation. It's a great, great deal. The dishwasher is so quiet, I didn't even know it was running while eating dinner about 8 feet away. All the dishes came out clean and dry. We have used it probably five times now. No complaints with the dishwasher.
Now the problem. I originally purchased this on Sears.com. The initial delivery was on time. However, it had...
