I got this TV for my mom as a gift. She loves it and it was easy to set up.
The TV is good at the price point I paid - $629+tax. LG is a respected brand in Asia and a 42" LCD 1080p at that price is a good deal. The picture when viewing true HD signals, just comes to life and is breath-taking. Fairly basic connectivity with 1 composite, 2 AV, 1PC and 3 HDMI ports. Would have been nice to have one more composite and HDMI ports and looks like the newer models have them. The speakers are well hidden and makes for a smooth clean finish on the outside. read full review »This is exactly what I was looking for, it has got all features like 1080 resolution, usb port, pc port etc. Picture quality is good but to enjoy the real good quality you have to have HD reception and blue ray player. Setting and starting the TV was pretty easy. Last bu not least you get a 42 inch TV in price of 32 inch.
Hey the price was right and it has excellent picture and sound quality. Easy set up and fast response when changing the channel with the remote. ( our last flat screen was so sloowwwww) Like the swivel stand too. If I see another special, I will pick up another one for the TV room.
This is the first HD TV for our apartment. We did not realy compared carefully the picture quality of this TV with others. But we feel this TV is very good both on picture and sound. This is a 60Hz TV. I would definitely buy one with higher frequency if I can choose. But for now, it is enough for us. I recomend those who are going to buy new TV's go for higher frequency like 120Hz or 240Hz if you can afford.
This is a very nice tv. Love the picture and sound quality. Easy menu controls, easy set up. Multiple rca hookups. Only draw back is that you can't program Direct TV remote to it.
I have been enjoying this tv for a few days now.Replaces 26 inch 720p insignia , incredible difference in quality of picture , sound, colour, etc.This is Home theatre have a blue ray player to go with it Lifes Good with this tv so far. I was a little surprised that it was not in stock but the 2 day wait was worth it customer service at pompano store was excellent from sales to pick up guys.
This tv has unbelievable screen adjustments for this price point. The contrast is excellent and the blacks are very deep. I use this tv for gaming and it looks perfect has plenty of hdmi ports and good speakers.
Great tv for the price. Great HD picture!
