My LG 42pq30 has been great! I have owned it for almost one year and the picture quality is extraordinary! If you don't have a plasma TV with HD, you don't know what you are missing. I also loved the Sears Card payment plan options. I bought the warranty as well because I had an RCA before this one from Sears with the warranty and we used it! You can't go wrong buying a bit of insurance for a high priced item!
I'm hesitant about the 720 line resolution that this tv puts out but for the price point paid and the quality of the image produced (so long as you do not use it as a computer monitor), it's a great product. Being a plasma screen, I expect to see some usage of electricity but the consumption herein is fairly reasonable.
One stand-out negative is that close caption is not available when viewing through the HDMI or in HD mode.
