“The Best...Also what a deal”

LG - 50 in. (Diagonal) Class 720p 600 Hz Plasma HD Television — 

After much, much research, we picked up the LG-50PQ30 plasma at Sears with the 10% off Early Bird Sat special. 899$. For a 50" plasma? What a TV. Crisp, great Blacks and Bright whites. No burn in at all. Easy Set-up, even for a new grampa. HDMI cable( 8$ on-line ) hook-up was cake and great picture. Auto volume leveler works great. A little fine tuning at set-up and we are amazed at the clarity, colors and overall picture. Great motion viewing, NCAA tourney and such. 720p HD res, but can't tell the difference. No 1080 at our house anyway and why waste the $. Huge, gorgeous screen and frame, jet black...perfect packing too!!! Side by side vs the Panasonic or Samsung 720's, it's the brightest and clearest pic...plus 200-500$ less. Could not be happier in our choice...No problem with lighted room viewing plus comes with swivel stand, till we find a wall to mount it on, if we chose too. Don't know yet. Looks great as is on our 62" Walnut console. Go ahead and get it. We love it!!!Been set up 1 week and will review again if changes occur, but I doubt it.
