Great buy for the money!!  We shopped around and checked reviews before deciding on the LG set.  Very happy with it (and the matching washer)!!  The wrinkle care setting is great if you won't be able to get the clothes out of the dryer.  I came back several hours later and everything was as if I...

Washer and dryer

Would never buy again.. We have had to replace the drawer where the soap and softener go twice (it gets stuck), if you do not remove your clothing immediatly you have terrible musty smell and twice we have had issues of a sock sneaking outside of the barrel only to clog the drain.. talk about a feat... read full review »

I bought the LG front load washer and dryer and liked it so much, I bought one for my mom for Christmas this year.  My daughter and sister-in-law also bought these and we are all thrilled with them!

GREAT DRYER

After reading numerous reviews and doing much research and looking at different brands, I decided on this LG Dryer....it was just the right size to fit into a limited space, but still is a large dryer. I replaced a 12 year old Whirlpool that was still working but required drying many loads at least twice to get the clothes dry. This dryer works great, drys in much less time and there is very little lint. I also bought the matching washer and so far am liking this pair. I have only had them for a week, but am anxious to see my ulitity bill now that I am doing half the drying time that I was before.... read full review »

Performs like a winner

Being an engineer I tend to do much research before a purchase, but reviews do not always tell all. I visited many stores to inspect various models, construction, features, etc. This model remained at the top of my list and when Sears had a sale offering the best price I found, I purchased it. It replaced a very reliable 25+ year old Maytag which served us well. My wife is pleased with the features and performance. Clothes are coming out softer, it runs quietly, and appears to be made well. Long term reliability is still unknown, but I expect it to be at least as good as the competition and likely... read full review »

Towels come out completely dry. With my old-fashioned front-loader, I had to run the cycle twice. I am saving energy and money by using the more efficient LG. We love it and are so happy with this and our LG front-loader washer we purchased at Sears Appliance Store.

Thrilled!

I did a lot of research before I purchased my new washer & dryer and I am thrilled with my selection. This is my 1st front loader and I was a little apprehensive about having one since my laundry room is on the main level of my home, just off of the kitchen and great room. I cannot hear the washer at all, even with the laundry room door open. The vibration is really not that much more than my old top loader vibrated during its spin cycle. The wash cycle is a little longer than I am used to, but the dryer is much quicker so they balance each other out. I actually don't mind doing laundry as much... read full review »

Great Dryer

I wrote a review for the washer that came with this pair. The dryer is great and love the dry sensor. Even though it says 41 minutes it may only take 20 minutes. Our clothes, I swear, come out softer using this pair. Love it, love it, love it!

Great Dryer!

We just received our new LG Tromm Washer Dryer. Take advantage of Sears Price Matching. We found the washer and dryer for $629 ea. at Best Buy on their pre-Memorial Day sales. We not only got each for $629 (what Best Buy had them on sale for) but got an extra 10% of the difference between Sears current price and the price match, $7 ea. so each piece ended up coming out to $622!!!!

5 stars

I really love this dryer. I read the manual before I used it, do the same. The dryer is done before the washer is so I no longer am behind in drying things. I recommend a dryer with the lint catcher in the door not on top either this dryer or any other. They dry your stuff much better and a lot quicker. My other dryer, which still works, was in the door and I loved it. I had to have a matching set otherwise I would have just bought a washer. I will leave a review again if my feelings change, so far I love the dryer.

LG washer and dryer

I bought the washer back in October and I just LOVE it!! I didn't buy this dryer until a month ago and I LOVE it too! The sensor dry is awesome and I can tell I'm saving on my water bill - and it drys very fast, so I'm not spending a lot of $$ on electricity. There is one personalized setting that you can set up and I use that function the most. It is quiet and sings a little song when its finished. I have both the w/d on the pedestal which is great to have them higher and the storage underneath. I would (and have been) recommend these LG products to everyone.

Works Great!

We bought the washer and dryer -- they work great! The first load of clothes came out a little damp, but the next time I used the more dry button and it dried them just fine. For the people that are having problems -- read the directions, the machine has saved us money already by taking less time then the old dryer to dry. Sears was great when we had a minor problem with the stands.

Not so satisfied

Brought the two on Feb. 24,08, delivered 3/14 and used the same evening. The washer works great, but the dryer is much to be desired. The dryer sensor dry technology is horrible, after drying a load of clothers 5-6 times they were still damp. I called Lg and they informed me to call Sears. I called Sears and they did send a service technician to my home the next day, he informed me that I needed to have my clothes dryer venting system blown out, which I immediately did, hence: my old dryer worked just fine with the same clothes dryer venting system. Even after having the vent cleaned the clothes... read full review »

LG really means Lifes Good

I received this set as a late wedding present. LOVE IT. I read all the reviews on multiple products before getting these. I myself have had no problems with the drying sensor...sometimes when I dry (normal mode) a full load of levis the belt band will be a tad bit damp, however, we are talking about thick denim. What I do is bump the drying temp up one notch and by problem goes away. Clothes come out super fresh, super soft, and in half the time as my old front load dryer. LOVE IT!
